⁵ “^(A)I have made the earth, the men, and the animals which are on the face of the earth ^(B)by My great power and by My outstretched arm, and I will ^(C)give it to the one who is right in My eyes. ⁶ So now, I ^(D)have given all these lands into the hand of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, ^(E)My servant, and I have given him even the ^(F)wild beasts of the field to serve him. ^7 (G)All the nations shall serve him and his son and his grandson ^(H)until the time of his own land comes; then ^(I)many nations and great kings will ^[a]make him their servant.

²⁵ that you be ^(A)driven away from mankind and your place of habitation be with the beasts of the field, and you be given grass to eat like cattle and be drenched with the dew of heaven; and seven ^[a]periods of time will pass over you, until you know that the ^(B)Most High is the powerful ruler over the kingdom of mankind and ^(C)gives it to whomever He wishes.

^18 [a]O king, the ^(A)Most High God ^(B)granted the kingdom, ^(C)grandeur, glory, and majesty to Nebuchadnezzar your father. ¹⁹ And because of the grandeur which He bestowed on him, all the peoples, nations, and men of every tongue feared and were in dread before him; ^(D)whomever he wished he killed, and whomever he wished he kept alive, and whomever he wished he raised up, and whomever he wished he made low.
