You Keep Him in Perfect Peace
26 In that day (A)this song will be sung in the land of Judah:
“We have a strong city;
he sets up (B)salvation
as walls and bulwarks.
2 (C)Open the gates,
that the righteous nation that keeps faith may enter in.
3 (D)You keep him in perfect peace
whose mind is stayed on you,
because he trusts in you.
4 Trust in the Lord forever,
for the Lord God is an everlasting rock.
5 (E)For he has humbled
the inhabitants of the height,
the lofty city.
He lays it low, lays it low to the ground,
casts it to the dust.
6 The foot tramples it,
the feet of (F)the poor,
the steps of (G)the needy.”
7 The path of the righteous is level;
(H)you make level the way of the righteous.
8 In the path of your judgments,
O Lord, we wait for you;
(I)your name and (J)remembrance
are the desire of our soul.
9 My soul yearns for you in the night;
my spirit within me earnestly seeks you.
(K)For when your judgments are in the earth,
the inhabitants of the world learn righteousness.
10 (L)If favor is shown to the wicked,
he does not learn righteousness;
in the land of uprightness he deals corruptly
and does not see the majesty of the Lord.
11 O Lord, (M)your hand is lifted up,
but (N)they do not see it.
Let them see your zeal for your people, and be ashamed.
Let (O)the fire for your adversaries consume them.
12 O Lord, you will ordain (P)peace for us,
for you have indeed done for us all our works.
13 O Lord our God,
(Q)other lords besides you have ruled over us,
(R)but your name alone we bring to remembrance.
14 They are dead, they will not live;
they are shades, they will not arise;
to that end you have visited them with destruction
and wiped out all remembrance of them.
15 (S)But you have increased the nation, O Lord,
you have increased the nation; you are glorified;
(T)you have enlarged all the borders of the land.
16 O Lord, (U)in distress they sought you;
they poured out a whispered prayer
when your discipline was upon them.
17 (V)Like a pregnant woman
who writhes and cries out in her pangs
when she is near to giving birth,
so were we because of you, O Lord;
18 (W)we were pregnant, we writhed,
but we have given birth to wind.
We have accomplished no deliverance in the earth,
and the inhabitants of the world have not fallen.
19 (X)Your dead shall live; their bodies shall rise.
You who dwell in the dust, awake and sing for joy!
For (Y)your dew is a dew of light,
and the earth will give birth to the dead.
20 Come, my people, enter your chambers,
and shut your doors behind you;
hide yourselves (Z)for a little while
until the fury has passed by.
21 (AA)For behold, the Lord is coming out from his place
to punish the inhabitants of (AB)the earth for their iniquity,
and the earth will disclose the blood shed on it,
and will no more cover its slain.

26 Sa araw na yaon ay aawitin ang awit na ito sa lupain ng Juda: Tayo ay may matibay na bayan; kaligtasan ay kaniyang ilalagay na pinakakuta at pinakakatibayan.
2 Buksan ninyo ang mga pintuang-bayan, upang mapasukan ng matuwid na bansa na nagiingat ng katotohanan.
3 Iyong iingatan siya sa lubos na kapayapaan, na ang pagiisip ay sumasa iyo: sapagka't siya'y tumitiwala sa iyo.
4 Magsitiwala kayo sa Panginoon magpakailan man: sapagka't nasa Panginoong Jehova ang walang hanggang bato.
5 Sapagka't ibinaba niya sila na nagsisitahan sa itaas, na mapagmataas na bayan: kaniyang ibinaba, ibinaba hanggang sa lupa: kaniyang ibinagsak hanggang sa alabok.
6 Yayapakan ng paa, sa makatuwid baga'y ng mga paa ng dukha, at ng mga hakbang ng mapagkailangan.
7 Ang daan ng ganap ay katuwiran: ikaw na matuwid ay nagtuturo ng landas ng ganap.
8 Oo, sa daan ng iyong mga kahatulan, Oh Panginoon, nangaghintay kami sa iyo: sa iyong pangalan at sa alaala sa iyo ang nasa ng aming kaluluwa.
9 Ninasa kita ng aking kaluluwa sa gabi; oo, ng diwa ko sa loob ko ay hahanapin kita na masikap: sapagka't pagka nasa lupa ang iyong mga kahatulan ay nangatututo ng katuwiran ang mga nananahan sa sanglibutan.
10 Magpakita man ng awa sa masama, hindi rin siya matututo ng katuwiran; sa lupain ng katuwiran ay gagawa siyang may kamalian, at hindi niya mapapansin ang kamahalan ng Panginoon.
11 Panginoon, ang iyong kamay ay nakataas, gayon ma'y hindi nila nakikita: nguni't makikita nila ang iyong sikap sa bayan, at mangapapahiya; oo, sasakmalin ng apoy ang iyong mga kaaway.
12 Panginoon, ikaw ay magaayos ng kapayapaan sa amin: sapagka't ikaw rin ang gumawa ng lahat naming gawa na para sa amin.
13 Oh Panginoon naming Dios, ang ibang mga panginoon, bukod sa iyo ay nagtaglay ng pagkapanginoon sa amin; nguni't ikaw lamang ang babanggitin namin sa pangalan.
14 Sila'y patay, sila'y hindi mabubuhay; sila'y namatay, sila'y hindi babangon: kaya't iyong dinalaw at sinira sila, at pinawi mo ang lahat na alaala sa kanila.
15 Iyong pinarami ang bansa, Oh Panginoon, iyong pinarami ang bansa; ikaw ay nagpakaluwalhati: iyong pinalaki ang lahat na hangganan ng lupain.
16 Panginoon, sa kabagabagan ay dinalaw ka nila, sila'y nangagbugso ng dalangin, nang pinarurusahan mo sila.
17 Gaya ng babae na nagdadalang-tao na lumalapit ang panahon ng kaniyang panganganak, ay nasa hirap at humihiyaw sa kaniyang pagdaramdam; naging gayon kami sa harap mo, Oh Panginoon.
18 Kami ay nangagdalang-tao, kami ay nalagay sa pagdaramdam, kami ay tila nanganak ng hangin; kami ay hindi nagsigawa ng anomang kagalingan sa lupa; o nabuwal man ang mga nananahan sa sanglibutan.
19 Ang iyong mga patay ay mangabubuhay; ang aking patay na katawan ay babangon. Magsigising at magsiawit, kayong nagsisitahan sa alabok: sapagka't ang iyong hamog ay gaya ng hamog ng mga damo, at iluluwa ng lupa ang mga patay.
20 Ikaw ay parito, bayan ko, pumasok ka sa iyong mga silid, at isara mo ang iyong mga pintuan sa palibot mo: magkubli kang sangdali, hanggang sa ang galit ay makalampas;
21 Sapagka't, narito, ang Panginoon ay lumalabas mula sa kaniyang dako upang parusahan ang mga nananahan sa lupa dahil sa kanilang kasamaan: ililitaw naman ng lupa ang kaniyang dugo, at hindi na tatakpan ang kaniyang nangapatay.

26 (A)В оня ден ще бъде изпята в земята Иудина тая песен: градът ни е як, вместо стени и окоп Той ни е дал спасение.
2 (B)Отворете портите; нека влезе праведният народ, който пази истината.
3 (C)Твърдия по дух Ти пазиш в съвършен мир, защото на Тебе се уповава.
4 (D)Уповавайте се Господу навеки, защото Господ Бог е вечна твърдиня:
5 (E)Той събори ония, които живееха нависоко – високо стоещия град; повали го, повали на земята, хвърли го в прах.
6 (F)Нога го тъпче, нозете на сиромаха, стъпките на бедните.
7 Пътят на праведника е прав; Ти уравняш неговата пътека.
8 (G)И в пътя на Твоите съдби, Господи, ние се Тебе уповавахме; душата ни се стремеше към Твоето име и към спомена за Тебе.
9 (H)С душата си се стремях към Тебе нощем, и с духа си ще Те диря във вътрешността си от ранни зори: защото, когато Твоите съдби се извършват на земята, тогава жителите на света се научават на правда.
10 (I)Ако нечестив бъде помилуван, той няма да се научи на правда; – ще злодействува в земята на праведните и не ще поглежда на величието Господне.
11 (J)Господи! Ръката Ти беше високо издигната, но те я не видяха; ще видят и ще се посрамят ония, които мразят Твоя народ; огън ще погълне Твоите врагове.
12 (K)Господи! Ти ни даруваш мир, защото и всички наши дела Ти уреждаш за нас.
13 Господи, Боже наш! други господари, освен Тебе, са владели над нас; но чрез Тебе само ние славим Твоето име.
14 (L)Мъртвите не ще оживеят; рефаимите не ще станат, защото Ти ги посети и изтреби, и унищожи всеки спомен за тях.
15 Ти умножи народа, Господи, умножи народа, – прослави Себе Си, разшири всички предели земни.
16 (M)Господи! бидейки в беда, той Те търсеше; изливаше тихи молитви, кога го постигаше Твоето наказание.
17 (N)Както непразна жена, кога да ражда, се мъчи, вика от болките си, тъй бяхме ние пред Тебе, Господи.
18 Бяхме непразни, мъчехме се, – и раждахме сякаш вятър; спасение не доставихме на земята, и други жители на вселената се не появиха.
19 (O)Твоите мъртъвци ще оживеят, мъртвите тела ще възкръснат! Събудете се и тържествувайте вие, повалените в прах; защото Твоята роса е роса на растенията, и земята ще изригне мъртъвците.
20 (P)Иди, народе мой, влез в покоите си и затвори след себе вратите си, скрий се за миг, докле мине гневът;
21 (Q)защото ето, Господ излиза от жилището Си да накаже жителите земни за тяхното беззаконие, и земята ще открие погълнатата от нея кръв и вече няма да скрие своите убити.

26 In that day shall this song be sung in the land of Judah; We have a strong city; salvation will God appoint for walls and bulwarks.
2 Open ye the gates, that the righteous nation which keepeth the truth may enter in.
3 Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.
4 Trust ye in the Lord for ever: for in the Lord Jehovah is everlasting strength:
5 For he bringeth down them that dwell on high; the lofty city, he layeth it low; he layeth it low, even to the ground; he bringeth it even to the dust.
6 The foot shall tread it down, even the feet of the poor, and the steps of the needy.
7 The way of the just is uprightness: thou, most upright, dost weigh the path of the just.
8 Yea, in the way of thy judgments, O Lord, have we waited for thee; the desire of our soul is to thy name, and to the remembrance of thee.
9 With my soul have I desired thee in the night; yea, with my spirit within me will I seek thee early: for when thy judgments are in the earth, the inhabitants of the world will learn righteousness.
10 Let favour be shewed to the wicked, yet will he not learn righteousness: in the land of uprightness will he deal unjustly, and will not behold the majesty of the Lord.
11 Lord, when thy hand is lifted up, they will not see: but they shall see, and be ashamed for their envy at the people; yea, the fire of thine enemies shall devour them.
12 Lord, thou wilt ordain peace for us: for thou also hast wrought all our works in us.
13 O Lord our God, other lords beside thee have had dominion over us: but by thee only will we make mention of thy name.
14 They are dead, they shall not live; they are deceased, they shall not rise: therefore hast thou visited and destroyed them, and made all their memory to perish.
15 Thou hast increased the nation, O Lord, thou hast increased the nation: thou art glorified: thou hadst removed it far unto all the ends of the earth.
16 Lord, in trouble have they visited thee, they poured out a prayer when thy chastening was upon them.
17 Like as a woman with child, that draweth near the time of her delivery, is in pain, and crieth out in her pangs; so have we been in thy sight, O Lord.
18 We have been with child, we have been in pain, we have as it were brought forth wind; we have not wrought any deliverance in the earth; neither have the inhabitants of the world fallen.
19 Thy dead men shall live, together with my dead body shall they arise. Awake and sing, ye that dwell in dust: for thy dew is as the dew of herbs, and the earth shall cast out the dead.
20 Come, my people, enter thou into thy chambers, and shut thy doors about thee: hide thyself as it were for a little moment, until the indignation be overpast.
21 For, behold, the Lord cometh out of his place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity: the earth also shall disclose her blood, and shall no more cover her slain.
