³ You have enlarged the nation^(A)
    and increased their joy;^(B)
they rejoice before you
    as people rejoice at the harvest,
as warriors rejoice
    when dividing the plunder.^(C)

¹⁵ You have enlarged the nation, Lord;
    you have enlarged the nation.^(A)
You have gained glory for yourself;
    you have extended all the borders^(B) of the land.

¹⁰ “Rejoice^(A) with Jerusalem and be glad for her,
    all you who love^(B) her;
rejoice greatly with her,
    all you who mourn^(C) over her.

¹⁰     and those the Lord has rescued^(A) will return.
They will enter Zion with singing;^(B)
    everlasting joy^(C) will crown their heads.
Gladness^(D) and joy will overtake them,
    and sorrow and sighing will flee away.^(E)
