^35 (A)The Father loves the Son and ^(B)has given all things into his hand.

¹⁸ And Jesus came and said to them, ^(A)“All authority ^(B)in heaven and on earth has been given to me.

⁵ He was still speaking when, behold, ^(A)a bright cloud overshadowed them, and ^(B)a voice from the cloud said, ^(C)“This is my beloved Son,^[a] with whom I am well pleased; ^(D)listen to him.”

²² who has gone into heaven and ^(A)is at the right hand of God, ^(B)with angels, authorities, and powers having been subjected to him.

^15 (A)who killed both the Lord Jesus and ^(B)the prophets, and drove us out, and displease God and ^(C)oppose all mankind ^16 (D)by hindering us from speaking to the Gentiles that they might be saved—so as always ^(E)to fill up the measure of their sins. But ^(F)wrath has come upon them at last!^[a]

²⁰ that he worked in Christ ^(A)when he raised him from the dead and ^(B)seated him at his right hand ^(C)in the heavenly places, ^21 (D)far above ^(E)all rule and authority and power and dominion, and above ^(F)every name that is named, not only in ^(G)this age but also in the one to come. ²² And ^(H)he put all things under his feet and gave him as ^(I)head over all things to the church,

Christ the Hope of Jews and Gentiles

⁸ For I tell you that Christ ^(A)became a servant to the circumcised to show God's truthfulness, in order ^(B)to confirm the promises given to the patriarchs,

²⁰ For ^(A)the Father loves the Son and shows him all that he himself is doing. And ^(B)greater works than these will he show him, so that ^(C)you may marvel. ²¹ For as the Father ^(D)raises the dead and ^(E)gives them life, so ^(F)also the Son gives life ^(G)to whom he will. ^22 (H)For the Father judges no one, but ^(I)has given all judgment to the Son, ²³ that all may honor the Son, just as they ^(J)honor the Father. ^(K)Whoever does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent him. ²⁴ Truly, truly, I say to you, ^(L)whoever hears my word and ^(M)believes him who sent me has eternal life. He ^(N)does not come into judgment, but ^(O)has passed from death to life.

²⁵ “Truly, truly, I say to you, ^(P)an hour is coming, and is now here, when ^(Q)the dead will hear ^(R)the voice of the Son of God, and those who hear ^(S)will live. ^26 (T)For as the Father has life in himself, ^(U)so he has granted the Son also to have life in himself. ²⁷ And he ^(V)has given him authority to execute judgment, because he is the Son of Man.
