10 Amo ini ang mga hulubaton ni Solomon:

Ang anak nga maalamon nagahatag sang kalipay sa iya ginikanan, pero ang anak nga buang-buang nagahatag sang kasubo sa ila.

Ang manggad nga nakuha sa malain nga paagi indi makahatag sang kaayuhan, pero ang matarong nga pagkabuhi makahatag sing kaayuhan kay makaluwas ini sa imo sa kamatayon.

Indi pagpabay-an sang Ginoo nga magutuman ang mga matarong, pero ang mga malaot iya indi niya pagtugutan nga matuman ang ila malain nga mga handom.

Ang pagkatamad makapaimol sa tawo, pero ang pagkapisan makapamanggaranon sa iya.

Ang nagatipon sang pagkaon kon tig-alani maalamon nga tawo,[a] pero ang nagasagi lang katulog makahuluya.

Ginapakamaayo ang matarong nga tawo; ang ginahambal sang malaot nga tawo makahalit.

Ang matarong nga tawo mangin pagpakamaayo sa iban kag dumdumon siya hasta san-o, pero ang malaot nga tawo kalimtan.

Ang maalamon nga tawo nagatuman sang mga sugo. Ang tawo nga nagahambal sing kabuangan malaglag.

Ang tawo nga nagakabuhi nga matarong indi maano, pero ang tawo nga nagakabuhi sing indi husto mahibaluan ang iya ginahimo.

10 Ang tawo nga nagapangdaya makahatag sing gamo, kag ang tawo nga nagahambal sang kabuangan malaglag.

11 Ang ginahambal sang matarong nga tawo makapaayo sa kabuhi sang iban,[b] pero ang ginahambal sang malaot nga tawo makahalit.

12 Ang kaugot makapaumpisa sang gamo, pero ang gugma makapatawad sang tanan nga sala.

13 Ang tawo nga may pag-intiendi nagahambal sang mga pulong nga may kaalam, pero ang tawo nga wala sing pag-intiendi nagahambal sang mga pulong nga mangin kabangdanan nga silutan siya.

14 Ginadugangan pa gid sang mga maalamon ang ila nahibaluan, pero ang mga buang-buang sagi hambal sang mga pulong nga makapalaglag mismo sa ila sa indi madugay.

15 Ang manggad sang manggaranon makaprotektar sa iya, pero ang kaimulon sang imol makalaglag sa iya.

16 Ang balos sa matarong nga tawo amo ang maayo kag malawig nga kabuhi, pero ang balos sa malaot nga tawo amo ang silot.

17 Ang tawo nga nagapamati sa mga pagtadlong sa iya pamatasan magaayo kag magalawig ang iya kabuhi, pero ang tawo nga wala nagapamati magatalang.

18 Butigon ang tawo nga nagatago sang iya kaakig, kag buang-buang ang mga nagapanglibak.

19 Ang tawo nga palahambal madali makasala. Maalamon ang tawo nga makahibalo magpugong sang iya baba.

20 Ang mga pulong sang matarong nga tawo bilidhon pareho sa pilak, pero ang hunahuna sang malaot nga tawo wala sing pulos.

21 Ang pulong sang matarong nga tawo makahatag sang kaayuhan sa madamo nga mga tawo luwas sa mga buang-buang nga magakalamatay tungod kay wala sila sing pag-intiendi.

22 Nagamanggaranon ang tawo tungod sa pagpakamaayo sang Ginoo, kag indi ini madugangan paagi sa tudo nga pagpangabudlay.[c]

23 Ang kalipayan sang buang-buang amo ang paghimo sang malain, pero ang kalipayan sang tawo nga may pag-intiendi amo ang pagkabuhi nga mainalamon.

24 Subong nga ang ginakahadlukan sang malaot nga tawo matabo sa iya, ang ginahandom sang matarong nga tawo mabaton niya.

25 Kon mag-abot sa kabuhi ang pagtilaw nga pareho sang bagyo, malaglag ang malaot nga tawo, pero ang matarong nga tawo magapabilin nga malig-on.

26 Subong nga ang langgaw makapangilo sa ngipon kag ang aso makapapait sa mata, ang matamad nga tawo makapaugtas sa nagasugo sa iya.

27 Ang nagatahod sa Ginoo magakabuhi sing malawig, pero ang malaot nga tawo magakabuhi sing malip-ot.

28 Ang paglaom sang mga matarong makahatag sa ila sang kalipay, pero ang paglaom sang mga malaot wala sing katumanan.

29 Ang pagsunod sang mga matarong sa pamaagi sang Ginoo makaprotektar sa ila, pero ang pagsupak sini sang mga malaot makapalaglag sa ila.

30 Ang mga matarong indi pagpahalinon sa aton duta, pero ang mga malaot pahalinon.

31 Ang mga ginahambal sang matarong nga tawo may kaalam, pero ang mga ginahambal sang dayaon nga tawo makapalaglag sa iya.

32 Ang matarong nga tawo nakahibalo kon ano ang husto nga ihambal, pero ang malaot nga tawo, ang iya lang nahibaluan nga ihambal amo ang sayop.
