^9 (A)The latter glory of this house shall be greater than the former, says the Lord of hosts. And ^(B)in this place I will give peace, declares the Lord of hosts.’”

⁹ For if there was glory in ^(A)the ministry of condemnation, ^(B)the ministry of righteousness must far exceed it in glory. ¹⁰ Indeed, in this case, what once had glory has come to have no glory at all, because of the glory that surpasses it.

¹⁹ For ^(A)in him all the ^(B)fullness of God was pleased to dwell, ²⁰ and ^(C)through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether on earth or in heaven, ^(D)making peace ^(E)by the blood of his cross.

^21 (F)And you, who once were alienated and hostile in mind, ^(G)doing evil deeds,

¹⁴ For ^(A)he himself is our peace, ^(B)who has made us both one and has broken down ^(C)in his flesh the dividing wall of hostility ¹⁵ by abolishing the law of commandments expressed in ^(D)ordinances, that he might create in himself one ^(E)new man in place of the two, so making peace, ¹⁶ and might ^(F)reconcile us both to God in one body through the cross, thereby killing the hostility. ¹⁷ And he came and ^(G)preached peace to you who were ^(H)far off and peace to those who were ^(I)near.

³⁶ As for ^(A)the word that he sent to Israel, ^(B)preaching good news of ^(C)peace through Jesus Christ (^(D)he is Lord of all),

^27 (A)Peace I leave with you; ^(B)my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. ^(C)Let not your hearts be troubled, neither ^(D)let them be afraid.

¹⁴ And ^(A)the Word ^(B)became flesh and ^(C)dwelt among us, ^(D)and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son^[a] from the Father, full of ^(E)grace and ^(F)truth.
