¹⁵ Canaan ^[a]was the father of ^(A)Sidon, his firstborn, and ^(B)Heth

^19 (A)The border of the Canaanite ^[a]extended from Sidon as you go toward Gerar, as far as Gaza; as you go toward ^(B)Sodom and Gomorrah and Admah and Zeboiim, as far as Lasha.

⁸ And Yahweh gave them into the hand of Israel, so that they struck them down, and they pursued them as far as Great Sidon and ^(A)Misrephoth-maim and the valley of ^(B)Mizpeh to the east; and they struck them until ^[a]there was no survivor remaining for them.

Israel Forsakes Yahweh Again

⁶ Then the sons of Israel again did what was evil in the eyes of Yahweh and ^(A)served the Baals and the Ashtaroth, the gods of Aram, the gods of Sidon, the gods of Moab, ^(B)the gods of the sons of Ammon, and the gods of the Philistines; thus ^(C)they forsook Yahweh and did not serve Him.

²² and all the kings of ^(A)Tyre, all the kings of Sidon, and the kings of ^(B)the coastlands which are beyond the sea,

³ and you shall send ^[a]word to the king of ^(A)Edom, to the king of ^(B)Moab, to the king of the sons of ^(C)Ammon, to the king of ^(D)Tyre, and to the king of ^(E)Sidon by the hand of messengers who come to Jerusalem to Zedekiah king of Judah.

²¹ “Son of man, ^(A)set your face toward ^(B)Sidon, prophesy against her ²² and say, ‘Thus says Lord Yahweh,
