⁵ When the report reaches Egypt,
They will be in ^(A)travail at the report of Tyre.

“For three transgressions of ^(A)Tyre and for four
I will not turn back its punishment
Because they delivered up the whole community of exiles to Edom
And did not remember the covenant of ^[a](B)brotherhood.
¹⁰ So I will ^(C)send fire upon the wall of Tyre,
And it will consume her citadels.”

² And ^(A)Hamath also, which borders on it;
^(B)And Tyre and ^(C)Sidon, ^[a]because ^[b]they are ^(D)very wise.
³ So Tyre built herself a ^(E)tight fortification
And ^(F)tied up silver like dust
And ^(G)fine gold like the mire of the streets.
⁴ Behold, the Lord will ^(H)dispossess her
And strike her wealth down into the sea;
And she will be ^(I)consumed with fire.
