⁹And God said, ^(A)“Let the waters under the heavens be gathered together into one place, and let the dry land appear.” And it was so.

⁹And God said, “Let the water under the sky be gathered to one place,^(A) and let dry ground^(B) appear.” And it was so.^(C)

¹⁰God called the dry land Earth,^[a] and the waters that were gathered together he called Seas. And God saw that it was good.

¹⁰God called^(A) the dry ground “land,” and the gathered waters^(B) he called “seas.”^(C) And God saw that it was good.^(D)
