⁵^(A)И видя Господ (Бог), че развратът между човеците на земята е голям, и че всичките им сърдечни мисли и помисли бяха зло във всяко време;

⁶^(B)и разкая се Господ, задето беше създал човека на земята, и се огорчи в сърцето Си.

⁷И рече Господ: ще изтребя от лицето на земята човеците, които сътворих; от човек до скот, гадове и птици небесни ще изтребя, защото се разкаях, задето ги създадох.

⁸А Ной намери благодат пред очите на Господа (Бога).

⁹^(C)Ето житието на Ноя: Ной беше човек праведен и непорочен в своя род; Ной ходеше по Бога.

¹⁰Ной роди трима синове: Сим, Хам и Иафет.

¹¹Но земята се разтля пред лицето Божие, и напълни се земята със злодейства.

Genesis 6:5-11

New International Version

⁵The Lord saw how great the wickedness of the human race had become on the earth,^(A) and that every inclination of the thoughts of the human heart was only evil all the time.^(B) ⁶The Lord regretted^(C) that he had made human beings on the earth, and his heart was deeply troubled. ⁷So the Lord said, “I will wipe from the face of the earth^(D) the human race I have created—and with them the animals, the birds and the creatures that move along the ground—for I regret that I have made them.^(E)” ⁸But Noah^(F) found favor in the eyes of the Lord.^(G)

Noah and the Flood

⁹This is the account^(H) of Noah and his family.

Noah was a righteous man, blameless^(I) among the people of his time,^(J) and he walked faithfully with God.^(K) ¹⁰Noah had three sons: Shem,^(L) Ham and Japheth.^(M)
