⁵ For through the Spirit, by faith, we eagerly wait for the hope of righteousness.^(A)

¹⁰ and to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead—Jesus, who rescues us from the coming wrath.^(A)

²³ and not only the creation, but we ourselves, who have the first fruits of the Spirit, groan inwardly while we wait for adoption, the redemption of our bodies.^{(A) 24} For in^[a] hope we were saved. Now hope that is seen is not hope, for who hopes for what one already sees? ²⁵ But if we hope for what we do not see, we wait for it with patience.

⁸ From now on there is reserved for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, will give me on that day, and not only to me but also to all who have longed for his appearing.^(A)

¹³ while we wait for the blessed hope and the manifestation of the glory of our great God and Savior,^[a] Jesus Christ.^(A)

⁹ and be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own that comes from the law but one that comes through faith in Christ,^[a] the righteousness from God based on faith.^(A)

²¹ so that, just as sin reigned in death, so grace might also reign through justification leading to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
