^20 (A)The fish of the sea and the birds of the heavens and the beasts of the field and all creeping things that creep on the ground, and all the people who are on the face of the earth, ^(B)shall quake at my presence. And ^(C)the mountains shall be thrown down, and the cliffs shall fall, and every wall shall tumble to the ground.

¹² When he opened the sixth seal, I looked, and behold, ^(A)there was a great earthquake, and ^(B)the sun became black as ^(C)sackcloth, the full moon became like blood, ¹³ and ^(D)the stars of the sky fell to the earth ^(E)as the fig tree sheds its winter fruit when shaken by a gale.

^4 (A)On that day his feet shall stand ^(B)on ^(C)the Mount of Olives that lies before Jerusalem on the east, and ^(D)the Mount of Olives shall be split in two from east to west by ^(E)a very wide valley, so that one half of the Mount shall move northward, and the other half southward. ⁵ And you shall flee to the valley of my mountains, for the valley of the mountains shall reach to Azal. And you shall flee as you fled from ^(F)the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah. Then the Lord my God will come, and all the holy ones with him.^[a]

⁴ For the ^(A)weapons of ^(B)our warfare are not of the flesh but have ^(C)divine power ^(D)to destroy strongholds.

²⁵ And ^(A)on every lofty mountain and every high hill there will be brooks running with water, in the day of the great slaughter, ^(B)when the towers fall.
