³³ So Moses went out of the city from Pharaoh and ^(A)stretched out his hands to the Lord, and the thunder and the hail ceased, and the rain no longer poured upon the earth.

²⁹ Moses said to him, “As soon as I have gone out of the city, ^(A)I will stretch out my hands to the Lord. The thunder will cease, and there will be no more hail, so that you may know that ^(B)the earth is the Lord's.

¹² So Moses and Aaron went out from Pharaoh, and Moses cried to the Lord about the frogs, as he had agreed with Pharaoh.^[a]

¹⁷ Elijah was a man ^(A)with a nature like ours, and ^(B)he prayed fervently that it might not rain, and for ^(C)three years and six months it did not rain on the earth. ^18 (D)Then he prayed again, and heaven gave rain, and the earth bore its fruit.
