¹⁰ There shall not be found among you anyone ^(A)who makes his son or his daughter pass through the fire, one who uses divination, one ^(B)who practices soothsaying or one who interprets omens or a sorcerer,

¹⁹ Now when they say to you, “^(A)Inquire of the mediums and the spiritists who whisper and mutter,” should not a people ^(B)inquire of their God? Should they ^(C)inquire of the dead on behalf of the living?

⁵ “Then I will draw near to you for judgment; and I will be a swift witness against the ^(A)sorcerers and against the ^(B)adulterers and against those who ^(C)swear falsely and against those who oppress the ^(D)wage earner in his wages, the ^(E)widow and the ^[a]orphan, and those who turn aside the ^(F)sojourner and do not ^[b]fear Me,” says Yahweh of hosts.
