¹⁶ He ^(A)brought forth streams also from the rock
And caused waters to run down like rivers.

¹⁸ “I will open ^(A)rivers on the bare heights
And springs in the midst of the valleys;
I will make ^(B)the wilderness a pool of water
And the dry land fountains of water.
¹⁹ “I will put the cedar in the wilderness,
The acacia and the ^(C)myrtle and the ^[a]olive tree;
I will place the ^(D)juniper in the desert
Together with the box tree and the cypress,

¹⁰ “They will ^(A)not hunger or thirst,
Nor will the scorching ^(B)heat or sun strike them down;
For ^(C)He who has compassion on them will ^(D)lead them
And will guide them to ^(E)springs of water.
