¹⁴ For ^(A)he himself is our peace, ^(B)who has made us both one and has broken down ^(C)in his flesh the dividing wall of hostility

^28 (A)There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave^[a] nor free, ^(B)there is no male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.

^11 (A)Here there is not Greek and Jew, circumcised and uncircumcised, barbarian, Scythian, slave,^[a] free; but Christ is ^(B)all, and in all.

¹⁵ And let ^(A)the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called ^(B)in one body. And ^(C)be thankful.

¹⁵ by abolishing the law of commandments expressed in ^(A)ordinances, that he might create in himself one ^(B)new man in place of the two, so making peace,

²⁰ and ^(A)through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether on earth or in heaven, ^(B)making peace ^(C)by the blood of his cross.

One Body with Many Members

¹² For just as ^(A)the body is one and has many members, and all the members of the body, though many, are one body, ^(B)so it is with Christ. ¹³ For ^(C)in one Spirit we were all baptized into one body—^(D)Jews or Greeks, slaves^[a] or free—and ^(E)all were made to drink of one Spirit.

¹⁰ and ^(A)you have been filled in him, who is ^(B)the head of all rule and authority. ¹¹ In him also ^(C)you were circumcised with a circumcision made without hands, by ^(D)putting off the body of the flesh, by the circumcision of Christ, ^12 (E)having been buried with him in baptism, in which ^(F)you were also raised with him through faith in ^(G)the powerful working of God, ^(H)who raised him from the dead. ^13 (I)And you, who were dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, God ^(J)made alive together with him, having forgiven us all our trespasses, ¹⁴ by ^(K)canceling ^(L)the record of debt that stood against us with its legal demands. This he set aside, nailing it to the cross.
