3 ¶ Se poutèt sa, mwen menm Pòl ki nan prizon poutèt Kris la pou byen nou, nou menm ki pa jwif, m'ap lapriyè pou nou devan Bondye.
2 Mwen kwè nou konnen deja ki jan Bondye, nan bon kè l', te ban m' travay sa a pou m' te fè pou nou.
3 Bondye devwale m' sekrè travay li a, pou m' te ka konnen plan li te gen sere nan kè li. Se sou plan sa a mwen deja ekri nou kèk mo pi wo a.
4 Lè n'a li yo, n'a kapab gen yon lide ki jan mwen konprann sekrè Kris la.
5 Nan tan lontan Bondye pa t' devwale plan travay sa a bay ankenn moun sou latè, men koulye a, ak pouvwa Sentespri a, li devwale l' bay moun li mete apa pou sèvi l' apòt ak pwofèt.
6 Men sekrè a: Nan Jezikri, ak pouvwa bon nouvèl la, moun ki pa jwif yo gen pou resevwa ansanm ak jwif yo pòsyon pa yo nan byen Bondye a. Yo se manm yon menm kò ansanm ak jwif yo, y'ap jwenn pa yo ansanm ak yo tou nan menm pwomès Bondye te fè a.
7 Kifè m'ap sèvi bon nouvèl sa a, se paske Bondye nan bon kè l' fè m' yon favè, li fè pouvwa li travay nan mwen.
8 Mwen pi pitit pase moun ki pi pitit nan tout pèp Bondye a. Men atousa, se mwen menm Bondye bay privilèj sa a, pou m' fè moun lòt nasyon yo konnen bon nouvèl richès Kris la, richès moun p'ap janm fin konprann.
9 Li ban m' privilèj sa a pou m' fè tout moun wè aklè ki jan plan travay Bondye te sere nan kè li a ap reyalize, paske Bondye ki kreye tout bagay te kenbe plan sa a nan kè l' depi lontan.
10 Men koulye a, avèk legliz la, tout chèf ak tout otorite ki nan syèl la pral rive konnen bon konprann Bondye a sou tout fòm li yo.
11 Bondye aji konsa dapre plan ki te la depi lontan an. Se plan sa a li reyalize nan Jezikri, Seyè nou an.
12 Ak lavi n'ap mennen ansanm nan Kris la, gremesi konfyans nou gen nan li a, nou lib pou nou pwoche devan Bondye san kè sote.
13 Se sak fè, mwen mande nou pou nou pa dekouraje poutèt soufrans m'ap sibi pou nou yo, paske se yon bèl avantaj sa ye pou nou.
14 ¶ Wi, se poutèt sa, mwen tonbe ajenou devan Papa a,
15 ki bay tout fanmi ki nan syèl la ak sou latè a non yo.
16 M'ap mande Bondye pou li ban nou, dapre richès pouvwa li a, fòs ak kouraj nan kè nou, pa mwayen pouvwa Sentespri a, pou nou ka grandi nan karaktè nou,
17 pou Kris la rete nan kè nou ak konfyans nou gen nan li a. M'ap mande Bondye pou nou pouse rasin, pou nou chita byen fèm nan renmen,
18 pou nou ka konprann, ansanm ak tout pèp Bondye a, jan renmen Kris la laj, jan li long, jan li fon, jan li wo.
19 Wi, mwen mande pou nou rive konnen kalite renmen Kris la gen pou nou, atout pesonn p'ap janm ka rive konnen l' nèt. Konsa, n'a vin plen nèt ak tou sa ki nan Bondye.
20 Tout lwanj lan se pou Bondye. Paske, ak pouvwa k'ap travay nan nou an, li kapab fè pi plis pase tou sa nou ka mande, pi plis pase tou sa nou ka mete nan lide nou.
21 Wi, tout lwanj lan pou Bondye nan legliz la ak nan Jezikri, pou tout tan ak pou tout tan. Amèn. Se sa menm!

3 For this cause I Paul, the prisoner of Jesus Christ for you Gentiles,
2 If ye have heard of the dispensation of the grace of God which is given me to you-ward:
3 How that by revelation he made known unto me the mystery; (as I wrote afore in few words,
4 Whereby, when ye read, ye may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ)
5 Which in other ages was not made known unto the sons of men, as it is now revealed unto his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit;
6 That the Gentiles should be fellowheirs, and of the same body, and partakers of his promise in Christ by the gospel:
7 Whereof I was made a minister, according to the gift of the grace of God given unto me by the effectual working of his power.
8 Unto me, who am less than the least of all saints, is this grace given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ;
9 And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ:
10 To the intent that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly places might be known by the church the manifold wisdom of God,
11 According to the eternal purpose which he purposed in Christ Jesus our Lord:
12 In whom we have boldness and access with confidence by the faith of him.
13 Wherefore I desire that ye faint not at my tribulations for you, which is your glory.
14 For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,
15 Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named,
16 That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man;
17 That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love,
18 May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height;
19 And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.
20 Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,
21 Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.

Ang Gawain ni Pablo sa mga Hentil
3 Dahil dito, akong si Pablo ay bilanggo dahil kay Cristo Jesus alang-alang sa inyong mga Hentil. 2 Yamang nabalitaan ninyo na ipinagkatiwala sa akin ang biyaya ng Diyos para sa inyo, 3 at gaya ng nabanggit ko sa aking maikling liham, ay ipinaalam sa akin ang hiwaga sa pamamagitan ng pahayag. 4 Sa inyong (A) pagbasa nito ay mababatid ninyo ang aking pagkaunawa sa hiwaga ni Cristo. 5 Hindi ito ipinaalam sa sangkatauhan noong mga nakaraang salinlahi, ngunit ngayon ay ipinahayag sa pamamagitan ng Espiritu sa kanyang mga banal na apostol at mga propeta. 6 Ito ang hiwaga: na ang mga Hentil ay magiging kapwa tagapagmana, mga kaanib ng iisang katawan, at mga kabahagi sa pangakong nakay Cristo Jesus sa pamamagitan ng ebanghelyo. 7 Para dito, ako'y naging isang lingkod ayon sa kaloob ng biyaya ng Diyos na ibinigay sa akin ayon sa pagkilos ng kanyang kapangyarihan. 8 Bagaman ako ang pinakahamak kung ihahambing sa lahat ng mga banal, ibinigay sa akin ang biyayang ito upang ipahayag sa mga Hentil ang Magandang Balita tungkol sa walang kapantay na kayamanan ni Cristo; 9 at upang malinaw na makita ng lahat ng tao ang pagtupad bilang katiwala ng hiwagang ito, na sa napakatagal na panahon ay inilihim ng Diyos, na siyang lumikha ng lahat ng bagay. 10 Sapagkat layunin niya na sa pamamagitan ng iglesya ay maipaalam ngayon sa mga pamunuan at mga maykapangyarihan sa kalangitan ang iba't ibang anyo ng karunungan ng Diyos, 11 alinsunod sa walang hanggang panukala ng Diyos na kanyang isinagawa kay Cristo Jesus na ating Panginoon. 12 Dahil sa kanya, may lakas ng loob at pagtitiwala tayong makalalapit sa Diyos sa pamamagitan ng ating pananampalataya sa kanya. 13 Kaya't huwag sana kayong manlupaypay dahil sa mga pagdurusa ko alang-alang sa inyo; ito'y para sa inyong kaluwalhatian.
Ang Pag-ibig ni Cristo
14 Kaya't nakaluhod akong nananalangin sa Ama,[a] 15 na siyang pinagmumulan ng pangalan ng bawat sambahayan sa langit at sa lupa. 16 Dalangin ko ayon sa kayamanan ng kanyang kaluwalhatian na pagkalooban kayo ng kapangyarihan upang lumakas ang inyong panloob na pagkatao sa pamamagitan ng kanyang Espiritu, 17 at upang manirahan sa inyong mga puso si Cristo sa pamamagitan ng pananampalataya, habang kayo'y nag-uugat at tumitibay sa pag-ibig. 18 Dalangin ko na makaya ninyong arukin, kasama ng lahat ng mga banal, ang luwang, haba, taas, at lalim, 19 at lubos na maunawaan ang pag-ibig ni Cristo, nang higit sa kayang abutin ng kaalaman, upang kayo'y mapuno ng lubos na kapuspusan ng Diyos. 20 Ngayon, sa kanya na may kapangyarihang gumawa ng higit pa at lalong sagana kaysa lahat ng ating hinihingi o iniisip, ayon sa kapangyarihang kumikilos sa atin, 21 sumakanya nawa ang kaluwalhatian sa pamamagitan ng iglesya at kay Cristo Jesus sa lahat ng salinlahi, magpakailanpaman. Amen.

God’s Marvelous Plan for the Gentiles
3 For this reason I, Paul, the prisoner(A) of Christ Jesus for the sake of you Gentiles—
2 Surely you have heard about the administration of God’s grace that was given to me(B) for you, 3 that is, the mystery(C) made known to me by revelation,(D) as I have already written briefly. 4 In reading this, then, you will be able to understand my insight(E) into the mystery of Christ, 5 which was not made known to people in other generations as it has now been revealed by the Spirit to God’s holy apostles and prophets.(F) 6 This mystery is that through the gospel the Gentiles are heirs(G) together with Israel, members together of one body,(H) and sharers together in the promise in Christ Jesus.(I)
7 I became a servant of this gospel(J) by the gift of God’s grace given me(K) through the working of his power.(L) 8 Although I am less than the least of all the Lord’s people,(M) this grace was given me: to preach to the Gentiles(N) the boundless riches of Christ,(O) 9 and to make plain to everyone the administration of this mystery,(P) which for ages past was kept hidden in God, who created all things. 10 His intent was that now, through the church, the manifold wisdom of God(Q) should be made known(R) to the rulers and authorities(S) in the heavenly realms,(T) 11 according to his eternal purpose(U) that he accomplished in Christ Jesus our Lord. 12 In him and through faith in him we may approach God(V) with freedom and confidence.(W) 13 I ask you, therefore, not to be discouraged because of my sufferings for you, which are your glory.
A Prayer for the Ephesians
14 For this reason I kneel(X) before the Father, 15 from whom every family[a] in heaven and on earth derives its name. 16 I pray that out of his glorious riches(Y) he may strengthen you with power(Z) through his Spirit in your inner being,(AA) 17 so that Christ may dwell in your hearts(AB) through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted(AC) and established in love, 18 may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people,(AD) to grasp how wide and long and high and deep(AE) is the love of Christ, 19 and to know this love that surpasses knowledge(AF)—that you may be filled(AG) to the measure of all the fullness of God.(AH)
20 Now to him who is able(AI) to do immeasurably more than all we ask(AJ) or imagine, according to his power(AK) that is at work within us, 21 to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen.(AL)
