Moses Dies on Mount Nebo
34 Then Moses went up from the plains of Moab (A)to Mount Nebo, to the top of Pisgah, which is across from Jericho. And the Lord showed him all the land of Gilead as far as Dan, 2 all Naphtali and the land of Ephraim and Manasseh, all the land of Judah as far as the [a]Western Sea, 3 the South, and the plain of the Valley of Jericho, (B)the city of palm trees, as far as Zoar. 4 Then the Lord said to him, (C)“This is the land of which I swore to give Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, saying, ‘I will give it to your descendants.’ (D)I have caused you to see it with your eyes, but you shall not cross over there.”
5 (E)So Moses the servant of the Lord died there in the land of Moab, according to the word of the Lord. 6 And He buried him in a valley in the land of Moab, opposite Beth Peor; but (F)no one knows his grave to this day. 7 (G)Moses was one hundred and twenty years old when he died. (H)His [b]eyes were not dim nor his natural vigor [c]diminished. 8 And the children of Israel wept for Moses in the plains of Moab (I)thirty days. So the days of weeping and mourning for Moses ended.
9 Now Joshua the son of Nun was full of the (J)spirit of wisdom, for (K)Moses had laid his hands on him; so the children of Israel heeded him, and did as the Lord had commanded Moses.
10 But since then there (L)has not arisen in Israel a prophet like Moses, (M)whom the Lord knew face to face, 11 in all (N)the signs and wonders which the Lord sent him to do in the land of Egypt, before Pharaoh, before all his servants, and in all his land, 12 and by all that mighty power and all the great terror which Moses performed in the sight of all Israel.

Moses död
34 (A) Mose gick från Moabs hedar upp på berget Nebo, på toppen av Pisga mitt emot Jeriko. Där lät Herren honom se hela landet[a], från Gilead ända till Dan 2 och hela Naftali och Efraims och Manasses land och hela Juda land ända till Västra havet, 3 (B) och Negev och Jordanslätten, det vill säga lågslätten vid Jeriko, Palmstaden, ända till Soar. 4 (C) Och Herren sade till honom: ”Detta är det land som jag med ed har lovat åt Abraham, Isak och Jakob när jag sade: Åt dina efterkommande ska jag ge det. Jag har låtit dig se det med dina ögon, men dit in ska du inte komma.”
5 Och Herrens tjänare Mose dog där i Moabs land, så som Herren hade sagt. 6 (D) Han begravde honom i dalen i Moabs land, mitt emot Bet-Peor. Men till denna dag har ingen fått veta var hans grav finns. 7 (E) Mose var hundratjugo år när han dog[b]. Hans ögon var inte skumma, hans livskraft inte försvunnen. 8 (F) Israels barn sörjde Mose på Moabs hedar under trettio dagar. Sedan var gråtens dagar i sorgetiden efter Mose slut.
9 (G) Josua, Nuns son, var fylld med vishetens ande, eftersom Mose hade lagt sina händer på honom. Och Israels barn lydde honom och gjorde som Herren hade befallt Mose.
10 (H) I Israel uppstod ingen mer profet som Mose, som Herren kände ansikte mot ansikte – 11 inte om man tänker på alla de tecken och under som Herren sände honom att göra i Egyptens land för farao och alla hans tjänare och hela hans land, 12 och på all den väldiga kraft och alla de stora och förunderliga gärningar som han gjorde inför hela Israel.

The Death of Moses
34 Then Moses climbed Mount Nebo(A) from the plains of Moab to the top of Pisgah,(B) across from Jericho.(C) There the Lord showed(D) him the whole land—from Gilead to Dan,(E) 2 all of Naphtali, the territory of Ephraim and Manasseh, all the land of Judah as far as the Mediterranean Sea,(F) 3 the Negev(G) and the whole region from the Valley of Jericho, the City of Palms,(H) as far as Zoar.(I) 4 Then the Lord said to him, “This is the land I promised on oath(J) to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob(K) when I said, ‘I will give it(L) to your descendants.’ I have let you see it with your eyes, but you will not cross(M) over into it.”
5 And Moses the servant of the Lord(N) died(O) there in Moab, as the Lord had said. 6 He buried him[a] in Moab, in the valley opposite Beth Peor,(P) but to this day no one knows where his grave is.(Q) 7 Moses was a hundred and twenty years old(R) when he died, yet his eyes were not weak(S) nor his strength gone.(T) 8 The Israelites grieved for Moses in the plains of Moab(U) thirty days,(V) until the time of weeping and mourning(W) was over.
9 Now Joshua son of Nun was filled with the spirit[b] of wisdom(X) because Moses had laid his hands on him.(Y) So the Israelites listened to him and did what the Lord had commanded Moses.
10 Since then, no prophet(Z) has risen in Israel like Moses,(AA) whom the Lord knew face to face,(AB) 11 who did all those signs and wonders(AC) the Lord sent him to do in Egypt—to Pharaoh and to all his officials(AD) and to his whole land. 12 For no one has(AE) ever shown the mighty power or performed the awesome deeds(AF) that Moses did in the sight of all Israel.

3 And the south, and the plain of the valley of Jericho, the city of palm trees, unto Zoar.
4 And the Lord said unto him, This is the land which I sware unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob, saying, I will give it unto thy seed: I have caused thee to see it with thine eyes, but thou shalt not go over thither.
5 So Moses the servant of the Lord died there in the land of Moab, according to the word of the Lord.
6 And he buried him in a valley in the land of Moab, over against Bethpeor: but no man knoweth of his sepulchre unto this day.
7 And Moses was an hundred and twenty years old when he died: his eye was not dim, nor his natural force abated.
8 And the children of Israel wept for Moses in the plains of Moab thirty days: so the days of weeping and mourning for Moses were ended.
9 And Joshua the son of Nun was full of the spirit of wisdom; for Moses had laid his hands upon him: and the children of Israel hearkened unto him, and did as the Lord commanded Moses.
10 And there arose not a prophet since in Israel like unto Moses, whom the Lord knew face to face,
11 In all the signs and the wonders, which the Lord sent him to do in the land of Egypt to Pharaoh, and to all his servants, and to all his land,
12 And in all that mighty hand, and in all the great terror which Moses shewed in the sight of all Israel.
