² “I am now a hundred and twenty years old^(A) and I am no longer able to lead you.^(B) The Lord has said to me, ‘You shall not cross the Jordan.’^(C)

⁷ Moses was a hundred and twenty years old^(A) when he died, yet his eyes were not weak^(B) nor his strength gone.^(C)

¹⁷ to go out and come in before them, one who will lead them out and bring them in, so the Lord’s people will not be like sheep without a shepherd.”^(A)

⁷ “Now, Lord my God, you have made your servant king in place of my father David. But I am only a little child^(A) and do not know how to carry out my duties.

²⁶ But because of you the Lord was angry^(A) with me and would not listen to me. “That is enough,” the Lord said. “Do not speak to me anymore about this matter. ²⁷ Go up to the top of Pisgah^(B) and look west and north and south and east.^(C) Look at the land with your own eyes, since you are not going to cross^(D) this Jordan.^(E)

¹² But the Lord said to Moses and Aaron, “Because you did not trust in me enough to honor me as holy^(A) in the sight of the Israelites, you will not bring this community into the land I give them.”^(B)

⁷ Moses was eighty years old^(A) and Aaron eighty-three when they spoke to Pharaoh.

¹³ I think it is right to refresh your memory^(A) as long as I live in the tent of this body,^{(B) 14} because I know that I will soon put it aside,^(C) as our Lord Jesus Christ has made clear to me.^(D)

²⁵ “Now I know that none of you among whom I have gone about preaching the kingdom^(A) will ever see me again.^(B)
