Ang Biblia (1978)

22 At ipinakita niya sa akin ang ^(A)isang ilog ng tubig ng buhay, na maningning na gaya ng bubog, na lumalabas sa luklukan ng Dios at ng Cordero,

²Sa gitna ng ^(B)lansangang yaon. ^(C)At sa dako rito ng ilog, at sa ibayo nito, naroon ^(D)ang punong kahoy ng buhay, na namumunga ng labingdalawang iba't ibang bunga, na namumunga sa bawa't buwan: at ang mga dahon ng punong kahoy ay pangpagaling sa mga bansa.

³At ^(E)hindi na magkakaroon pa ng sumpa: ^(F)at ang luklukan ng Dios at ng Cordero ay naroroon: at siya'y paglilingkuran ng kaniyang mga alipin;

⁴At makikita nila ang ^(G)kaniyang mukha; at ang ^(H)kaniyang pangalan ay sasa kanilang mga noo.

⁵^(I)At hindi na magkakaroon pa ng gabi, at sila'y hindi nangangailangan ng liwanag ng ilawan, ni ng liwanag man ng araw; sapagka't liliwanagan sila ^(J)ng Panginoong Dios: at sila'y maghahari magpakailan kailan man.

⁶At sinabi niya sa akin, ^(K)Ang mga salitang ito'y tapat at tunay, at ang Panginoon, ang Dios ng mga espiritu ng mga propeta, ay ^(L)nagsugo ng kaniyang anghel upang ipakita sa kaniyang mga alipin ang mga bagay na kinakailangang mangyari madali.

⁷^(M)At narito, ako'y madaling pumaparito. ^(N)Mapalad ang tumutupad ng mga salita ng hula ng aklat na ito.

⁸At akong si ^(O)Juan, ako ang nakarinig at nakakita ng mga bagay na ito. At nang aking marinig at makita, ^(P)ay nagpatirapa ako upang sumamba sa harapan ng anghel na nagpakita sa akin ng mga bagay na ito.

⁹At sinasabi niya sa akin, Ingatan mong huwag gawin iyan: ako'y kapuwa mo alipin at ng iyong mga kapatid na mga propeta, at ng mga tumutupad ng mga salita ng aklat na ito: sumamba ka sa Dios.

¹⁰At sinasabi niya sa akin, ^(Q)Huwag mong tatakan ang mga salita ng hula ng aklat na ito; ^(R)sapagka't malapit na ang panahon.

¹¹Ang liko, ay ^(S)magpakaliko pa: at ang marumi, ay magpakarumi pa: at ang matuwid, ay magpakatuwid pa: at ang banal, ay magpakabanal pa.

¹²Narito, ako'y madaling pumaparito; at ang ^(T)aking ganting-pala ay nasa akin, ^(U)upang bigyan ng kagantihan ang bawa't isa ayon sa kaniyang gawa.

¹³^(V)Ako ang Alpha at ang Omega, at ang una at ang huli, ang pasimula at ang wakas.

¹⁴Mapapalad ^(W)ang nangaghuhugas ng kanilang damit, upang sila'y magkaroon ng karapatan sa ^(X)punong kahoy ng buhay, ^(Y)at makapasok sa bayan sa pamamagitan ng mga pintuan.

¹⁵Nangahas labas ^(Z)ang mga aso, at ang mga ^(AA)manggagaway, at ang mga mapakiapid, at ang mga mamamatay-tao, at ang mga mapagsamba sa diosdiosan, at ang bawa't nagiibig at gumagawa ng kasinungalingan.

¹⁶Akong si Jesus ay nagsugo ng ^(AB)aking anghel upang sa inyo'y magpatotoo ng mga bagay na ito sa mga iglesia. ^(AC)Ako ang ugat at ang supling ni David, ang maningning na ^(AD)tala sa umaga.

¹⁷At ang Espiritu at ang ^(AE)kasintahang babae ay nagsasabi, Halika. At ang nakikinig ay magsabi, Halika. ^(AF)At ang nauuhaw, ay pumarito: ang may ibig ay kumuhang walang bayad ng tubig ng buhay.

¹⁸Aking sinasaksihan sa bawa't taong nakikinig sa mga salita ng hula ng aklat na ito, Kung ang sinoman ay magdagdag sa mga ito, ay daragdagan siya ng Dios ^(AG)ng mga salot na nakasulat sa aklat na ito:

¹⁹At kung ang sinoman ay magalis sa mga salita ng aklat ng hulang ito, ay aalisin ng ^(AH)Dios ang kaniyang bahagi ^(AI)sa punong kahoy ng buhay, at ^(AJ)sa bayang banal, na nangakasulat sa aklat na ito.

²⁰Ang sumasaksi sa mga bagay na ito ay nagsasabi, ^(AK)Oo: ako'y madaling pumaparito. ^(AL)Siya nawa: pumarito ka Panginoong Jesus.

²¹Ang biyaya ng Panginoong ^(AM)Jesus ay mapasa mga banal nawa. Siya nawa.

Revelation 22

New International Version

Eden Restored

22 Then the angel showed me the river^(A) of the water of life,^(B) as clear as crystal,^(C) flowing^(D) from the throne of God and of the Lamb ²down the middle of the great street of the city. On each side of the river stood the tree of life,^(E) bearing twelve crops of fruit, yielding its fruit every month. And the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations.^(F) ³No longer will there be any curse.^(G) The throne of God and of the Lamb will be in the city, and his servants will serve him.^(H) ⁴They will see his face,^(I) and his name will be on their foreheads.^(J) ⁵There will be no more night.^(K) They will not need the light of a lamp or the light of the sun, for the Lord God will give them light.^(L) And they will reign for ever and ever.^(M)

John and the Angel

⁶The angel said to me,^(N) “These words are trustworthy and true.^(O) The Lord, the God who inspires the prophets,^(P) sent his angel^(Q) to show his servants the things that must soon take place.”

⁷“Look, I am coming soon!^(R) Blessed^(S) is the one who keeps the words of the prophecy written in this scroll.”^(T)

⁸I, John, am the one who heard and saw these things.^(U) And when I had heard and seen them, I fell down to worship at the feet^(V) of the angel who had been showing them to me. ⁹But he said to me, “Don’t do that! I am a fellow servant with you and with your fellow prophets and with all who keep the words of this scroll.^(W) Worship God!”^(X)

¹⁰Then he told me, “Do not seal up^(Y) the words of the prophecy of this scroll,^(Z) because the time is near.^(AA) ¹¹Let the one who does wrong continue to do wrong; let the vile person continue to be vile; let the one who does right continue to do right; and let the holy person continue to be holy.”^(AB)

Epilogue: Invitation and Warning

¹²“Look, I am coming soon!^(AC) My reward is with me,^(AD) and I will give to each person according to what they have done.^(AE) ¹³I am the Alpha and the Omega,^(AF) the First and the Last,^(AG) the Beginning and the End.^(AH)

¹⁴“Blessed are those who wash their robes,^(AI) that they may have the right to the tree of life^(AJ) and may go through the gates^(AK) into the city.^(AL) ¹⁵Outside^(AM) are the dogs,^(AN) those who practice magic arts, the sexually immoral, the murderers, the idolaters and everyone who loves and practices falsehood.

¹⁶“I, Jesus,^(AO) have sent my angel^(AP) to give you^[a] this testimony for the churches.^(AQ) I am the Root^(AR) and the Offspring of David,^(AS) and the bright Morning Star.”^(AT)

¹⁷The Spirit^(AU) and the bride^(AV) say, “Come!” And let the one who hears say, “Come!” Let the one who is thirsty come; and let the one who wishes take the free gift of the water of life.^(AW)

¹⁸I warn everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this scroll:^(AX) If anyone adds anything to them,^(AY) God will add to that person the plagues described in this scroll.^(AZ) ¹⁹And if anyone takes words away^(BA) from this scroll of prophecy,^(BB) God will take away from that person any share in the tree of life^(BC) and in the Holy City, which are described in this scroll.

²⁰He who testifies to these things^(BD) says, “Yes, I am coming soon.”^(BE)

Amen. Come, Lord Jesus.^(BF)

²¹The grace of the Lord Jesus be with God’s people.^(BG) Amen.

The River of Life

22 And he showed me ^(A)a ^[a]pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding from the throne of God and of the Lamb. ²^(B)In the middle of its street, and on either side of the river, was ^(C)the tree of life, which bore twelve fruits, each tree yielding its fruit every month. The Time Is Near

⁷^(Q)“Behold, I am coming quickly! ^(R)Blessed is he who keeps the words of the prophecy of this book.”

⁸Now I, John, ^[c]saw and heard these things. And when I heard and saw, ^(S)I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel who showed me these things.

⁹Then he said to me, ^(T)“See that you do not do that. ^[d]For I am your fellow servant, and of your brethren the prophets, and of those who keep the words of this book. Worship God.” ¹⁰^(U)And he said to me, “Do not seal the words of the prophecy of this book, ^(V)for the time is at hand. ¹¹He who is unjust, let him be unjust still; he who is filthy, let him be filthy still; he who is righteous, let him ^[e]be righteous still; he who is holy, let him be holy still.”

Jesus Testifies to the Churches

¹²“And behold, I am coming quickly, and ^(W)My reward is with Me, ^(X)to give to every one according to his work. ¹³^(Y)I am the Alpha and the Omega, the ^[f]Beginning and the End, the First and the Last.”

¹⁴^(Z)Blessed are those who ^[g]do His commandments, that they may have the right ^(AA)to the tree of life, ^(AB)and may enter through the gates into the city. ¹⁵^[h]But ^(AC)outside are ^(AD)dogs and sorcerers and sexually immoral and murderers and idolaters, and whoever loves and practices a lie.

¹⁶^(AE)“I, Jesus, have sent My angel to testify to you these things in the churches. ^(AF)I am the Root and the Offspring of David, ^(AG)the Bright and Morning Star.”

¹⁷And the Spirit and ^(AH)the bride say, “Come!” And let him who hears say, “Come!” ^(AI)And let him who thirsts come. Whoever desires, let him take the water of life freely.

A Warning

¹⁸^[i]For I testify to everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: ^(AJ)If anyone adds to these things, ^[j]God will add to him the plagues that are written in this book; ¹⁹and if anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, ^(AK)God^[k] shall take away his part from the ^[l]Book of Life, from the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.

I Am Coming Quickly

²⁰He who testifies to these things says, “Surely I am coming quickly.”

Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus!

²¹The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be ^[m]with you all. Amen.

The River of Life

22 Then the angel^[a] showed me ^(A)the river of ^(B)the water of life, bright as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb ²through the middle of ^(C)the street of the city; ^(D)also, on either side of the river, ^(E)the tree of life^[b] with its twelve kinds of fruit, yielding its fruit each month. The leaves of the tree were ^(F)for the healing of the nations. ³^(G)No longer will there be anything accursed, but ^(H)the throne of God and of the Lamb will be in it, and ^(I)his servants will worship him. ⁴^(J)They will see his face, and ^(K)his name will be on their foreheads. ⁵And ^(L)night will be no more. They will need no light of lamp ^(M)or sun, for ^(N)the Lord God will be their light, and ^(O)they will reign forever and ever.

Jesus Is Coming
