³ But Peter said, “Ananias, why has ^(A)Satan filled your heart to lie ^(B)to the Holy Spirit and ^(C)to keep back for yourself part of the proceeds of the land?

^24 (A)Can a man hide himself in secret places so that I cannot see him? declares the Lord. ^(B)Do I not fill heaven and earth? declares the Lord.

^8 (A)Be sober-minded; ^(B)be watchful. Your ^(C)adversary the devil ^(D)prowls around ^(E)like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.

⁹ But Peter said to her, “How is it that you have agreed together ^(A)to test ^(B)the Spirit of the Lord? Behold, the feet of those who have buried your husband are at the door, and they will carry you out.”

²⁷ Then after he had taken the morsel, ^(A)Satan entered into him. Jesus said to him, ^(B)“What you are going to do, do quickly.”

² During supper, when ^(A)the devil had already put it into the heart of Judas Iscariot, Simon's son, to betray him,

⁷ Submit yourselves therefore to God. ^(A)Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

^11 (A)Put on ^(B)the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against ^(C)the schemes of the devil. ¹² For ^(D)we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against ^(E)the rulers, against the authorities, against ^(F)the cosmic powers over ^(G)this present darkness, against ^(H)the spiritual forces of evil ^(I)in the heavenly places. ¹³ Therefore ^(J)take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in ^(K)the evil day, and having done all, to stand firm. ¹⁴ Stand therefore, ^(L)having fastened on the belt of truth, and ^(M)having put on the breastplate of righteousness, ¹⁵ and, ^(N)as shoes for your feet, having put on the readiness given by the gospel of peace. ¹⁶ In all circumstances take up ^(O)the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all ^(P)the flaming darts of ^(Q)the evil one;
