¹⁰ let it be known to all of you and to all the people of Israel that ^(A)by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified, ^(B)whom God raised from the dead—by him this man is standing before you well.

²⁹ But Peter and the apostles answered, ^(A)“We must obey God rather than men. ^30 (B)The God of our fathers ^(C)raised Jesus, ^(D)whom you killed by hanging him on ^(E)a tree. ³¹ God exalted ^(F)him at his right hand as ^(G)Leader and ^(H)Savior, ^(I)to give ^(J)repentance to Israel and ^(K)forgiveness of sins. ³² And ^(L)we are witnesses to these things, and ^(M)so is the Holy Spirit, ^(N)whom God has given to those who obey him.”

⁶ But Peter said, ^(A)“I have no silver and gold, but what I do have I give to you. ^(B)In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk!”

³⁶ Let all the house of Israel therefore know for certain that ^(A)God has made him ^(B)both Lord and Christ, this Jesus ^(C)whom you crucified.”

²⁸ Therefore let it be known to you that ^(A)this ^(B)salvation of God ^(C)has been sent to the Gentiles; ^(D)they will listen.”^[a]

⁴⁰ but ^(A)God raised him on ^(B)the third day and made him to ^(C)appear, ^41 (D)not to all the people but to us who had been chosen by God as ^(E)witnesses, who ate and drank with him after he rose from the dead. ⁴² And ^(F)he commanded us to preach to the people and to testify ^(G)that he is the one appointed by God to be judge ^(H)of the living and the dead.

^13 (A)The God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, ^(B)the God of our fathers, ^(C)glorified his servant^[a] Jesus, whom ^(D)you delivered over and ^(E)denied in the presence of Pilate, ^(F)when he had decided to release him. ¹⁴ But you denied ^(G)the Holy and ^(H)Righteous One, and ^(I)asked for a murderer to be granted to you, ¹⁵ and you killed ^(J)the Author of life, ^(K)whom God raised from the dead. To this we are witnesses. ¹⁶ And ^(L)his name—by ^(M)faith in his name—has made this man strong whom you see and know, and the faith that is ^(N)through Jesus^[b] has given the man this perfect health in the presence of you all.

²² “Men of Israel, hear these words: Jesus of Nazareth, ^(A)a man attested to you by God ^(B)with ^(C)mighty works and wonders and signs that ^(D)God did through him in your midst, as you yourselves know— ²³ this Jesus,^{[a] (E)}delivered up according to ^(F)the definite plan and ^(G)foreknowledge of God, ^(H)you crucified and killed by the hands of lawless men. ^24 (I)God raised him up, loosing the pangs of death, because ^(J)it was not possible for him to be held by it.

⁶³ and said, “Sir, we remember how ^(A)that impostor said, while he was still alive, ^(B)‘After three days I will rise.’ ⁶⁴ Therefore order the tomb to be made secure until the third day, ^(C)lest his disciples go and steal him away and tell the people, ‘He has risen from the dead,’ and the last fraud will be worse than the first.” ⁶⁵ Pilate said to them, “You have ^(D)a guard^[a] of soldiers. Go, make it as secure as you can.” ⁶⁶ So they went and made the tomb secure by ^(E)sealing the stone and setting a guard.
