The Lame Beggar Healed

3 Now Peter and John were ^(A)going up to the temple at ^(B)the hour of prayer, ^(C)the ninth hour.^[a]

³⁰ And Cornelius said, ^(A)“Four days ago, about this hour, I was praying in my house at ^(B)the ninth hour,^[a] and behold, ^(C)a man stood before me in bright clothing

^3 (A)About the ninth hour of the day^{[a] (B)}he saw clearly in a vision ^(C)an angel of God come in and say to him, “Cornelius.”

¹⁴ Now when ^(A)the apostles at Jerusalem heard that ^(B)Samaria had received the word of God, they sent to them Peter and John,

²⁵ And someone came and told them, “Look! The men whom you put in prison ^(A)are standing in the temple and teaching the people.”

^13 (A)Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were uneducated, common men, they were astonished. And they recognized that they had been with Jesus.

⁴⁶ And day by day, ^(A)attending the temple ^(B)together and ^(C)breaking bread in their homes, they received their food ^(D)with glad and generous hearts,

⁷ That disciple ^(A)whom Jesus loved therefore said to Peter, “It is the Lord!” When Simon Peter heard that it was the Lord, ^(B)he put on his outer garment, for he was ^(C)stripped for work, and ^(D)threw himself into the sea.
