    and you will indeed see but never perceive.”

    and their ears heavy,
    and blind their eyes;
^(D)lest they see with their eyes,
    and hear with their ears,
and understand with their hearts,
    and turn and be healed.”

lest they should see with their eyes

lest they ^(C)should turn and be forgiven.’”

^(B)“Lord, who has believed what he heard from us,
    and to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed?”

^40 (D)“He has blinded their eyes
    and ^(E)hardened their heart,
lest they see with their eyes,
    and understand with their heart, and turn,
    and I would heal them.”

    ^(B)eyes that would not see
    and ears that would not hear,
down to this very day.”

^(C)“Let their table become a snare and a trap,
    a stumbling block and a retribution for them;

    and bend their backs forever.”
