⁶ My eyes will watch over them for their good, and I will bring them back^(A) to this land. I will build^(B) them up and not tear them down; I will plant^(C) them and not uproot them.

²⁵ They will live in the land I gave to my servant Jacob, the land where your ancestors lived.^(A) They and their children and their children’s children will live there forever,^(B) and David my servant will be their prince forever.^{(C) 26} I will make a covenant of peace^(D) with them; it will be an everlasting covenant.^(E) I will establish them and increase their numbers,^(F) and I will put my sanctuary among them^(G) forever.^{(H) 27} My dwelling place^(I) will be with them; I will be their God, and they will be my people.^(J)

²⁴ “‘No longer will the people of Israel have malicious neighbors who are painful briers and sharp thorns.^(A) Then they will know that I am the Sovereign Lord.
