¹³ And when ^(A)those who bore the ark of the Lord had gone six steps, ^(B)he sacrificed an ox and a fattened animal.

¹⁵ And the Levites carried the ark of God on their shoulders ^(A)with the poles, ^(B)as Moses had commanded according to the word of the Lord.

⁵ And King Solomon and all the congregation of Israel, who had assembled before him, were with him before the ark, ^(A)sacrificing so many sheep and oxen that they could not be counted or numbered.

¹⁵ And when Aaron and his sons have finished covering the sanctuary and all the furnishings of the sanctuary, as the camp sets out, after that ^(A)the sons of Kohath shall come to carry these, ^(B)but they must not touch the holy things, lest they die. These are the things of the tent of meeting that the sons of Kohath are to carry.

² Then David said that no one but the Levites may carry ^(A)the ark of God, for the Lord had chosen them to carry the ark of the Lord and to minister to him forever.

³ and commanded the people, “As soon as you see the ark of the covenant of the Lord your God being carried by ^(A)the Levitical priests, then you shall set out from your place and follow it.

⁹ But to the sons of Kohath he gave none, because they were charged with ^(A)the service of the holy things that ^(B)had to be carried on the shoulder.

⁶ And King Solomon and all the congregation of Israel, who had assembled before him, were before the ark, sacrificing so many sheep and oxen that they could not be counted or numbered.

^25 (A)So David and the elders of Israel and the commanders of thousands went to bring up the ark of the covenant of the Lord from the house of ^(B)Obed-edom with rejoicing. ²⁶ And because God helped the Levites who were carrying the ark of the covenant of the Lord, they sacrificed ^(C)seven bulls and seven rams.
