54 But when this deadly thing shall clothe undeadliness, then shall the word be done, that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory[a].
55 Death, where is thy victory? Death, where is thy prick?
56 But the prick of death is sin; and the virtue of sin is the law.
57 But do we thankings to God [Forsooth thankings to God], that gave to us victory by our Lord Jesus Christ.
58 Therefore, my dear-worthy brethren, be ye steadfast, and unmoveable, being plenteous in work of the Lord, evermore witting that your travail is not idle in the Lord.

Hell, where is your victory? 56 The sting of death is sin, and the strength of sin is the law. 57 But thanks be to God, who has given us victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. 58 Therefore, my dear brethren, be steadfast and unmoveable, always rich in the works of the Lord, because you know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.
