^15 (A)This is a faithful saying and worthy of all acceptance, that ^(B)Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am chief.

¹⁷ When Jesus heard it, He said to them, ^(A)“Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick. I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners, ^[a]to repentance.”

^16 (A)For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten ^(B)Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. ^17 (C)For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.

^10 (A)for the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost.”

⁴⁷ And if anyone hears My words and does not ^[a]believe, ^(A)I do not judge him; for ^(B)I did not come to judge the world but to save the world.

¹² But ^(A)as many as received Him, to them He gave the ^[a]right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name:

^32 (A)I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners, to repentance.”

¹³ although ^(A)I was formerly a blasphemer, a persecutor, and an ^[a]insolent man; but I obtained mercy because ^(B)I did it ignorantly in unbelief.

^28 (A)just as the ^(B)Son of Man did not come to be served, ^(C)but to serve, and ^(D)to give His life a ransom ^(E)for many.”
