1 Thessalonians 2:8-12
New King James Version
8 So, affectionately longing for you, we were well pleased (A)to impart to you not only the gospel of God, but also (B)our own lives, because you had become dear to us. 9 For you remember, brethren, our (C)labor and toil; for laboring night and day, (D)that we might not be a burden to any of you, we preached to you the gospel of God.
10 (E)You are witnesses, and God also, (F)how devoutly and justly and blamelessly we behaved ourselves among you who believe; 11 as you know how we exhorted, and comforted, and [a]charged every one of you, as a father does his own children, 12 (G)that you would walk worthy of God (H)who calls you into His own kingdom and glory.

1 Thessalonians 2:8-12
Young's Literal Translation
8 so being desirous of you, we are well-pleased to impart to you not only the good news of God, but also our own souls, because beloved ye have become to us,
9 for ye remember, brethren, our labour and travail, for, night and day working not to be a burden upon any of you, we did preach to you the good news of God;
10 ye [are] witnesses -- God also -- how kindly and righteously, and blamelessly to you who believe we became,
11 even as ye have known, how each one of you, as a father his own children, we are exhorting you, and comforting, and testifying,
12 for your walking worthily of God, who is calling you to His own reign and glory.

8 in the same way we had a fond affection for you and were delighted to (A)share with you not only the (B)gospel of God, but also our own [a]lives, because you had become [b]very dear to us.
9 For you recall, brothers and sisters, our (C)labor and hardship: it was by (D)working night and day so as not to be a (E)burden to any of you, that we proclaimed to you the (F)gospel of God. 10 You are witnesses, and so is (G)God, of (H)how devoutly and rightly and blamelessly we [c]behaved toward you [d]believers; 11 just as you know how we were (I)exhorting and encouraging and (J)imploring each one of you as (K)a father would his own children, 12 so that you would (L)walk in a manner worthy of the God who (M)calls you into His own kingdom and (N)glory.
