¹² For our ^[a]proud confidence is this: the testimony of ^(A)our conscience, that in holiness and ^(B)godly sincerity, ^(C)not in fleshly wisdom but in the grace of God, we have conducted ourselves in the world, and especially toward you.

⁵ for our ^(A)gospel did not come to you in word only, but also ^(B)in power and in the Holy Spirit and with ^(C)full conviction; just as you know ^(D)what kind of men we proved to be among you for your sakes.
