^21 (A)who through him are believers in God, ^(B)who raised him from the dead and ^(C)gave him glory, so that your faith and hope are in God.

⁹ But we see him ^(A)who for a little while was made lower than the angels, namely Jesus, ^(B)crowned with glory and honor ^(C)because of the suffering of death, so that by the grace of God he might ^(D)taste death ^(E)for everyone.

^24 (A)God raised him up, loosing the pangs of death, because ^(B)it was not possible for him to be held by it.

Jesus Came to Save the World

⁴⁴ And Jesus cried out and said, ^(A)“Whoever believes in me, believes not in me but ^(B)in him who sent me.

²² who has gone into heaven and ^(A)is at the right hand of God, ^(B)with angels, authorities, and powers having been subjected to him.

³² This Jesus ^(A)God raised up, ^(B)and of that we all are witnesses. ^33 (C)Being therefore ^(D)exalted at the right hand of God, and having received from ^(E)the Father ^(F)the promise of the Holy Spirit, ^(G)he has poured out this that you yourselves are seeing and hearing.

¹¹ inquiring ^(A)what person or time^{[a] (B)}the Spirit of Christ in them was indicating ^(C)when he predicted ^(D)the sufferings of Christ and the subsequent glories.

²⁵ Consequently, he is able to save to the uttermost^{[a] (A)}those who draw near to God ^(B)through him, since he always lives ^(C)to make intercession for them.
