¹⁷ Because there is one bread, we who are many are ^(A)one body, for we all partake of the one bread.

⁵ so we, ^(A)though many, ^(B)are one body in Christ, and individually ^(C)members one of another.

¹⁵ And let ^(A)the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called ^(B)in one body. And ^(C)be thankful.

²⁷ Now ^(A)you are the body of Christ and individually ^(B)members of it.

One Body with Many Members

¹² For just as ^(A)the body is one and has many members, and all the members of the body, though many, are one body, ^(B)so it is with Christ.

²⁵ Therefore, having put away falsehood, let each one of you ^(A)speak the truth with his neighbor, for ^(B)we are members one of another.

^16 (A)from whom the whole body, joined and held together by every joint with which it is equipped, ^(B)when each part is working properly, makes the body grow so that it builds itself up in love.

^12 (A)to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for ^(B)building up ^(C)the body of Christ, ¹³ until we all attain to ^(D)the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, ^(E)to mature manhood,^[a] to the measure of the stature of ^(F)the fullness of Christ,

⁴ There is ^(A)one body and ^(B)one Spirit—just as you were called to the one ^(C)hope that belongs to your call—
