谁是更大的
18 那时，门徒们前来问耶稣：“在天国里究竟谁更大？”
2 耶稣叫来一个小孩子，让他站在他们当中， 3 说：“我确实地告诉你们：你们如果不回转[a]，变得像小孩子一样，绝不能进入天国。 4 所以，谁像这小孩子自我降卑，谁在天国里就更大。 5 无论谁奉我的名接受这样一个小孩子，就是接受我。
6 “但无论谁使信我的这些卑微人中的一个绊倒，对那人来说，倒不如脖子上被拴上大磨石[b]，沉到深海里。 7 这世界有祸了，因为有使人绊脚的事；要知道，那些使人绊脚的事必然出现，不过使它出现的人有祸了。 8 如果你的一只手或一只脚使你绊倒，就把它砍下来丢掉！对你来说，缺一只手或缺一只脚进入永生[c]，要比手脚双全被丢进永远的火里好多了。 9 如果你的一只眼使你绊倒，就把它剜出来丢掉！对你来说，缺一只眼进入永生[d]，要比双眼齐全被丢进烈火的地狱里好多了。
迷羊的比喻
10 “你们要注意，不可轻视这些卑微人中的一个。我告诉你们：他们的天使在天上常常看见我天父的面。 11 要知道人子来，是为了拯救迷失的人。[e] 12 你们怎么看以下的事？如果一个人有一百只羊，其中一只迷失了，难道他不把九十九只留在山上，去寻找那一只迷失的吗？ 13 如果找到了，我确实地告诉你们：他为这一只羊欢喜，会比为那九十九只没有迷失的羊更欢喜。 14 照样，你们[f]在天上的父也不愿意失去这些卑微人中的一个。
挽回弟兄
15 “如果你的弟兄对你[g]犯了罪，你就要去，只在你和他之间责备他。如果他听你的，你就赢得了你的弟兄； 16 如果他不听，你就另外带一个或两个人一起去，为要使“任何事，凭两个或三个见证人的口，才能成立。”[h] 17 如果他不听他们的，就告诉教会；如果他连教会也不听，就应当把他看做像外邦人或税吏一样。 18 我确实地告诉你们：你们在地上所捆绑的，在天上将是已经被捆绑了的；你们在地上所释放的，在天上将是被释放了的。 19 我再确实地告诉你们：如果你们当中有两个人，在地上同心地为任何事祈求，我在天上的父就会为你们成全； 20 因为哪里有两三个人奉我的名聚集，我就在哪里，在他们当中。”
恶仆的比喻
21 那时，彼得前来问耶稣：“主啊，如果弟兄对我犯罪，我该饶恕多少次呢？到七次可以吗？”
22 耶稣对他说：“我告诉你：不是七次，而是七十个七次[i]。 23 为此，天国就好比一个君王，要与他的奴仆们清算账目。 24 他开始算的时候，一个欠了一千万两银子[j]的奴仆被带到他面前。 25 因为那奴仆没有可偿还的，主人就下令把他和他的妻子儿女，以及他所拥有的一切都卖掉来偿还。
26 “那奴仆就俯伏拜他，说：‘[k]请宽容我吧，将来我会把一切偿还给你。’ 27 那奴仆的主人动了怜悯之心，把他释放了，并且免了他的债。
28 “但那奴仆出去以后，遇见一个与他同做奴仆的；这人欠他一百个银币[l]。他就抓住这人，掐住这人的喉咙，说：‘把欠我的还给我。’
29 “这人就俯伏在地[m]央求他，说：‘请宽容我吧，我会还给你的。’ 30 可是他不肯，反而把这人投进监狱，直到这人能还清所欠的债。 31 那些与他同做奴仆的看见所发生的事，就极其忧伤，去把一切都告诉他们的主人。
32 “于是主人把那奴仆叫来，对他说：‘你这恶奴！因为你求我，我就免了你所有的债。 33 难道你不也该怜悯与你同做奴仆的，像我怜悯了你一样吗？’ 34 主人就发怒，把他交给掌刑官，直到他能还清所欠的一切债。 35 如果你们每个人不从心里饶恕自己的弟兄[n]，我的天父也会照样对待你们。”

¿Quién es el más importante?(A)
18 En aquella misma ocasión los discípulos se acercaron a Jesús y le preguntaron:
—¿Quién es el más importante en el reino de los cielos?
2 Jesús llamó entonces a un niño, lo puso en medio de ellos 3 y dijo:
—Les aseguro que si ustedes no cambian y se vuelven como niños, no entrarán en el reino de los cielos. 4 El más importante en el reino de los cielos es el que se humilla y se vuelve como este niño. 5 Y el que recibe en mi nombre a un niño como éste, me recibe a mí.
El peligro de caer en pecado(B)
6 »A cualquiera que haga caer en pecado a uno de estos pequeños que creen en mí, más le valdría que lo hundieran en lo profundo del mar con una gran piedra de molino atada al cuello. 7 ¡Qué malo es para el mundo que haya tantas incitaciones al pecado! Tiene que haberlas, pero ¡ay del hombre que haga pecar a los demás!
8 »Por eso, si tu mano o tu pie te hacen caer en pecado, córtatelos y échalos lejos de ti; es mejor que entres en la vida manco o cojo, y no que con tus dos manos y tus dos pies seas arrojado al fuego eterno. 9 Y si tu ojo te hace caer en pecado, sácatelo y échalo lejos de ti; es mejor que entres en la vida con un solo ojo, y no que con tus dos ojos seas arrojado al fuego del infierno.

10 »No desprecien a ninguno de estos pequeños. Pues les digo que en el cielo los ángeles de ellos están mirando siempre el rostro de mi Padre celestial.
12 »¿Qué les parece? Si un hombre tiene cien ovejas y se le extravía una de ellas, ¿acaso no dejará las otras noventa y nueve en el monte, para ir a buscar la oveja extraviada? 13 Y si logra encontrarla, de seguro se alegrará más por esa oveja que por las noventa y nueve que no se extraviaron. 14 Así también, el Padre de ustedes que está en el cielo no quiere que se pierda ninguno de estos pequeños.
Cómo se debe perdonar al hermano(D)
15 »Si tu hermano te hace algo malo, habla con él a solas y hazle reconocer su falta. Si te hace caso, ya has ganado a tu hermano. 16 Si no te hace caso, llama a una o dos personas más, para que toda acusación se base en el testimonio de dos o tres testigos. 17 Si tampoco les hace caso a ellos, díselo a la comunidad; y si tampoco hace caso a la comunidad, entonces habrás de considerarlo como un pagano o como uno de esos que cobran impuestos para Roma.
18 »Les aseguro que lo que ustedes aten aquí en la tierra, también quedará atado en el cielo, y lo que ustedes desaten aquí en la tierra, también quedará desatado en el cielo.
19 »Esto les digo: Si dos de ustedes se ponen de acuerdo aquí en la tierra para pedir algo en oración, mi Padre que está en el cielo se lo dará. 20 Porque donde dos o tres se reúnen en mi nombre, allí estoy yo en medio de ellos.
21 Entonces Pedro fue y preguntó a Jesús:
—Señor, ¿cuántas veces deberé perdonar a mi hermano, si me hace algo malo? ¿Hasta siete?
22 Jesús le contestó:
—No te digo hasta siete veces, sino hasta setenta veces siete.
La parábola del funcionario que no quiso perdonar
23 »Por esto, sucede con el reino de los cielos como con un rey que quiso hacer cuentas con sus funcionarios. 24 Estaba comenzando a hacerlas cuando le presentaron a uno que le debía muchos millones. 25 Como aquel funcionario no tenía con qué pagar, el rey ordenó que lo vendieran como esclavo, junto con su esposa, sus hijos y todo lo que tenía, para que quedara pagada la deuda. 26 El funcionario se arrodilló delante del rey, y le rogó: “Tenga usted paciencia conmigo y se lo pagaré todo.” 27 Y el rey tuvo compasión de él; así que le perdonó la deuda y lo puso en libertad.
28 »Pero al salir, aquel funcionario se encontró con un compañero suyo que le debía una pequeña cantidad. Lo agarró del cuello y comenzó a estrangularlo, diciéndole: “¡Págame lo que me debes!” 29 El compañero, arrodillándose delante de él, le rogó: “Ten paciencia conmigo y te lo pagaré todo.” 30 Pero el otro no quiso, sino que lo hizo meter en la cárcel hasta que le pagara la deuda. 31 Esto dolió mucho a los otros funcionarios, que fueron a contarle al rey todo lo sucedido. 32 Entonces el rey lo mandó llamar, y le dijo: “¡Malvado! Yo te perdoné toda aquella deuda porque me lo rogaste. 33 Pues tú también debiste tener compasión de tu compañero, del mismo modo que yo tuve compasión de ti.” 34 Y tanto se enojó el rey, que ordenó castigarlo hasta que pagara todo lo que debía.

The Greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven(A)
18 At that time the disciples came to Jesus and asked, “Who, then, is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?”
2 He called a little child to him, and placed the child among them. 3 And he said: “Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children,(B) you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.(C) 4 Therefore, whoever takes the lowly position of this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.(D) 5 And whoever welcomes one such child in my name welcomes me.(E)
Causing to Stumble
6 “If anyone causes one of these little ones—those who believe in me—to stumble, it would be better for them to have a large millstone hung around their neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea.(F) 7 Woe to the world because of the things that cause people to stumble! Such things must come, but woe to the person through whom they come!(G) 8 If your hand or your foot causes you to stumble,(H) cut it off and throw it away. It is better for you to enter life maimed or crippled than to have two hands or two feet and be thrown into eternal fire. 9 And if your eye causes you to stumble,(I) gouge it out and throw it away. It is better for you to enter life with one eye than to have two eyes and be thrown into the fire of hell.(J)
The Parable of the Wandering Sheep(K)
10 “See that you do not despise one of these little ones. For I tell you that their angels(L) in heaven always see the face of my Father in heaven. [11] [a]
12 “What do you think? If a man owns a hundred sheep, and one of them wanders away, will he not leave the ninety-nine on the hills and go to look for the one that wandered off? 13 And if he finds it, truly I tell you, he is happier about that one sheep than about the ninety-nine that did not wander off. 14 In the same way your Father in heaven is not willing that any of these little ones should perish.
Dealing With Sin in the Church
15 “If your brother or sister[b] sins,[c] go and point out their fault,(M) just between the two of you. If they listen to you, you have won them over. 16 But if they will not listen, take one or two others along, so that ‘every matter may be established by the testimony of two or three witnesses.’[d](N) 17 If they still refuse to listen, tell it to the church;(O) and if they refuse to listen even to the church, treat them as you would a pagan or a tax collector.(P)
18 “Truly I tell you, whatever you bind on earth will be[e] bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be[f] loosed in heaven.(Q)
19 “Again, truly I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything they ask for, it will be done for them(R) by my Father in heaven. 20 For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.”(S)
The Parable of the Unmerciful Servant
21 Then Peter came to Jesus and asked, “Lord, how many times shall I forgive my brother or sister who sins against me?(T) Up to seven times?”(U)
22 Jesus answered, “I tell you, not seven times, but seventy-seven times.[g](V)
23 “Therefore, the kingdom of heaven is like(W) a king who wanted to settle accounts(X) with his servants. 24 As he began the settlement, a man who owed him ten thousand bags of gold[h] was brought to him. 25 Since he was not able to pay,(Y) the master ordered that he and his wife and his children and all that he had be sold(Z) to repay the debt.
26 “At this the servant fell on his knees before him.(AA) ‘Be patient with me,’ he begged, ‘and I will pay back everything.’ 27 The servant’s master took pity on him, canceled the debt and let him go.
28 “But when that servant went out, he found one of his fellow servants who owed him a hundred silver coins.[i] He grabbed him and began to choke him. ‘Pay back what you owe me!’ he demanded.
29 “His fellow servant fell to his knees and begged him, ‘Be patient with me, and I will pay it back.’
30 “But he refused. Instead, he went off and had the man thrown into prison until he could pay the debt. 31 When the other servants saw what had happened, they were outraged and went and told their master everything that had happened.
32 “Then the master called the servant in. ‘You wicked servant,’ he said, ‘I canceled all that debt of yours because you begged me to. 33 Shouldn’t you have had mercy on your fellow servant just as I had on you?’ 34 In anger his master handed him over to the jailers to be tortured, until he should pay back all he owed.
35 “This is how my heavenly Father will treat each of you unless you forgive your brother or sister from your heart.”(AB)

2 耶稣叫了一个小孩子来站在他们当中，然后说： 3 “我实在告诉你们，你们若不变得像小孩子那样，绝不能进天国。 4 所以，凡像这小孩子一样谦卑的人，在天国才是最伟大的。
5 “任何人为了我的名而接待这样一个小孩子，就是接待了我。 6 但不论谁使这样一个小信徒失足犯罪，他的下场比把大磨石拴在他脖子上沉到深海里还要惨。 7 这世界有祸了！因为里面充满了引人犯罪的事。这样的事是免不了的，但那些引人犯罪的人有祸了！

迷失的羊
11 “人子到世界来，为要拯救迷失的人。 12 如果一个人有一百只羊，其中有一只走迷了路，他会怎么办呢？难道不会把那九十九只撇在山上，去找那只迷失的羊吗？ 13 我实在告诉你们，如果找到了，他会非常欢喜，甚至比有那九十九只没有迷失的羊还欢喜。 14 同样，你们的天父也不愿任何一个卑微的人失丧。
纠正信徒的过错
15 “如果你的弟兄得罪了你，你要找个机会跟他单独在一起，指出他的错处。如果他肯接受劝告，你就得了一位弟兄。 16 如果他不听劝告，你就带一两位弟兄去见他，让两三个人为谈话作证。 17 如果他仍然不听，就应当告诉教会。如果他连教会也不听，就把他看作异教徒或税吏[a]。 18 我实在告诉你们，你们在地上捆绑的，在天上也要捆绑；你们在地上释放的，在天上也要释放。

2 And He called a child to Himself, set him in the midst of them, 3 and said, “Amen, I tell you, unless you turn and become like children, you shall never enter the kingdom of heaven. 4 Whoever then shall humble himself like this child, this one is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. 5 And whoever welcomes one such child in My name, welcomes Me.
6 “But whoever causes one of these little ones who trust in Me to stumble, it would be better for him to have a heavy millstone hung around his neck and to be sunk in the depth of the sea! 7 Woe to the world because of snares! For snares must come, but woe to that man through whom the snare comes!
8 “And if your hand or your foot causes you to stumble, cut it off and throw it away from you. It’s better for you to enter into life crippled or lame than, having two hands or two feet, to be thrown into fiery Gehenna. 9 If your eye causes you to stumble, pluck it out and throw it away from you. It’s better for you to enter into life with one eye than, having two eyes, to be thrown into fiery Gehenna.
Parable of the Lost Sheep
10 “See that you do not despise one of these little ones, for I tell you that their angels in heaven continually see the face of My Father in heaven. (11 )[a]
12 “What do you think? If a certain man has a hundred sheep and one of them goes astray, won’t he leave the ninety-nine on the mountains and go looking for the one that is straying? 13 And if he finds it, amen I tell you, he rejoices over it more than over the ninety-nine that didn’t stray. 14 Even so, it’s not the will of your Father in heaven that one of these little ones should be lost.”
Restoring a Lost Brother
15 “Now if your brother sins against you, go and show him his fault while you’re with him alone. If he listens to you, you have won your brother. 16 But if he does not listen, take with you one or two more, so that ‘by the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may stand.’ [b] 17 But if he refuses to listen to them, tell it to Messiah’s community. And if he refuses to listen even to Messiah’s community, let him be to you as a pagan and a tax collector.
18 “Amen, I tell you, whatever you forbid on earth will have been forbidden in heaven and what you permit on earth will have been permitted in heaven. 19 Again I say to you, that if two of you agree on earth about anything they may ask, it shall be done for them by My Father in heaven. 20 For where two or three are gathered together in My name, there I am in their midst.”
Lessons about Forgiveness
21 Then Peter came to Him and said, “Master, how often shall I forgive my brother when he sins against me? Up to seven times?”
22 Yeshua said to him, “No, not up to seven times, I tell you, but seventy times seven! [c] 23 Therefore, the kingdom of heaven may be compared to a king who wanted to settle accounts with his slaves. 24 When he had begun to settle up, a man was brought to him who owed him ten thousand talents. [d] 25 But since he didn’t have the money to repay, his master ordered him to be sold, along with his wife and children and all that he had, and payment to be made. 26 Then the slave fell on his knees and begged him, saying, ‘Be patient with me, and I’ll repay you everything.’ 27 And the master of that slave, filled with compassion, released him and forgave him the debt.
28 “Now that slave went out and found one of his fellow slaves who owed him a hundred denarii. And he grabbed him and started choking him, saying, ‘Pay back what you owe!’
29 “So his fellow slave fell down and kept begging him, saying, ‘Be patient with me, and I’ll pay you back.’ 30 Yet he was unwilling. Instead, he went off and threw the man into prison until he paid back all he owed.
31 “So when his fellow slaves saw what had happened, they were deeply distressed. They went to their master and reported in detail all that had happened. 32 Then summoning the first slave, his master said to him, ‘You wicked slave! I forgave all that debt because you pleaded with me. 33 Wasn’t it necessary for you also to show mercy to your fellow slave, just as I showed mercy to you?’ 34 Enraged, the master handed him over to the torturers until he paid back all he owed.
35 “So also My heavenly Father will do to you, unless each of you, from your hearts, forgives his brother.”
