醫治癱子
9 耶穌坐船回到湖對岸自己住的城鎮。
2 有人用擔架把一個癱子抬到耶穌面前。耶穌看見他們的信心，就對癱子說：「孩子，放心吧！你的罪得到赦免了。」
3 幾個律法教師聽了，心裡想：「這個人是在褻瀆上帝。」
4 耶穌知道他們的心思，就說：「你們為什麼心懷惡念呢？ 5 說『你的罪得到赦免了』容易呢？還是說『你起來行走』容易呢？ 6 如今我要讓你們知道人子在世上有赦罪的權柄。」於是祂對癱子說：「起來！收拾你的擔架回家去吧。」
7 那人立刻站起來，回家去了。 8 看見的人都充滿了敬畏，就讚美把這樣的權柄賜給人的上帝。
呼召馬太
9 耶穌離開那裡往前走，看見一個名叫馬太的人坐在收稅站裡，便對他說：「跟從我！」馬太就站起來跟從了耶穌。
10 耶穌在馬太家裡坐席的時候，很多稅吏和罪人前來跟耶穌和祂的門徒一起坐席。 11 法利賽人看見了，就質問耶穌的門徒：「你們的老師為何跟稅吏和罪人一起吃飯？」 12 耶穌聽見後，答道：「健康的人不需要醫生，有病的人才需要。 13 聖經上說，『我喜愛憐憫之心，而非祭物』，你們去揣摩這句話的意思吧。我來不是要召義人，乃是要召罪人。」
禁食的問題
14 那時，約翰的門徒來問耶穌：「我們和法利賽人常常禁食，為什麼你的門徒不禁食呢？」
15 耶穌對他們說：「新郎和賓客還在一起的時候，賓客怎能悲傷呢？但有一天新郎將被帶走，那時他們就要禁食了。
16 「沒有人用新布縫補舊衣，恐怕新布會把舊衣扯破，破洞會更大。 17 也沒有人用舊皮囊來盛新酒，否則皮囊會漲破，酒也漏了，皮囊也毀了。人們總是把新酒裝在新皮囊裡，以便兩樣都能保住。」
起死回生
18 當耶穌在說話的時候，來了一個管理會堂的人跪在祂面前，說：「我的女兒剛剛死了，請你去把手按在她身上，她就會活過來。」 19 耶穌和門徒就起身跟著他去了。 20 途中，有一個患了十二年血漏病的女人擠到耶穌的背後，摸了一下祂衣服的穗邊， 21 因為她心想：「我只要摸到祂的衣服，病就會好。」 22 耶穌轉過頭來，看見她，就說：「女兒，放心吧，你的信心救了你。」就在那一刻，她的頑疾痊癒了。
23 耶穌來到管理會堂之人的家，看見殯葬的吹樂手和亂嚷嚷的人群， 24 就吩咐他們：「你們出去吧，這女孩並沒有死，只是睡著了。」他們都譏笑祂。
25 耶穌讓眾人都出去，然後進去拉著女孩的手，女孩就起來了。 26 這件事傳遍了整個地區。
醫治瞎子和啞巴
27 耶穌從那裡往前走，有兩個瞎子跟著祂，高聲呼叫：「大衛的後裔啊，可憐我們吧！」
28 耶穌進了房子，那兩個瞎子來到祂面前。耶穌問他們：「你們相信我能做這事嗎？」他們說：「主啊，我們相信。」

Jesus Forgives and Heals a Paralytic(A)
9 So He got into a boat, crossed over, (B)and came to His own city. 2 (C)Then behold, they brought to Him a paralytic lying on a bed. (D)When Jesus saw their faith, He said to the paralytic, “Son, be of good cheer; your sins are forgiven you.”
3 And at once some of the scribes said within themselves, “This Man blasphemes!”
4 But Jesus, (E)knowing their thoughts, said, “Why do you think evil in your hearts? 5 For which is easier, to say, ‘Your sins are forgiven you,’ or to say, ‘Arise and walk’? 6 But that you may know that the Son of Man has power on earth to forgive sins”—then He said to the paralytic, “Arise, take up your bed, and go to your house.” 7 And he arose and departed to his house.
8 Now when the multitudes saw it, they (F)marveled[a] and glorified God, who had given such power to men.
Matthew the Tax Collector(G)
9 (H)As Jesus passed on from there, He saw a man named Matthew sitting at the tax office. And He said to him, “Follow Me.” So he arose and followed Him.
10 (I)Now it happened, as Jesus sat at the table in the house, that behold, many tax collectors and sinners came and sat down with Him and His disciples. 11 And when the Pharisees saw it, they said to His disciples, “Why does your Teacher eat with (J)tax collectors and (K)sinners?”
12 When Jesus heard that, He said to them, “Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick. 13 But go and learn what this means: (L)‘I desire mercy and not sacrifice.’ For I did not come to call the righteous, (M)but sinners, [b]to repentance.”
Jesus Is Questioned About Fasting(N)
14 Then the disciples of John came to Him, saying, (O)“Why do we and the Pharisees fast [c]often, but Your disciples do not fast?”
15 And Jesus said to them, “Can (P)the [d]friends of the bridegroom mourn as long as the bridegroom is with them? But the days will come when the bridegroom will be taken away from them, and (Q)then they will fast. 16 No one puts a piece of unshrunk cloth on an old garment; for [e]the patch pulls away from the garment, and the tear is made worse. 17 Nor do they put new wine into old wineskins, or else the wineskins [f]break, the wine is spilled, and the wineskins are ruined. But they put new wine into new wineskins, and both are preserved.”
A Girl Restored to Life and a Woman Healed(R)
18 (S)While He spoke these things to them, behold, a ruler came and worshiped Him, saying, “My daughter has just died, but come and lay Your hand on her and she will live.” 19 So Jesus arose and followed him, and so did His (T)disciples.
20 (U)And suddenly, a woman who had a flow of blood for twelve years came from behind and (V)touched the hem of His garment. 21 For she said to herself, “If only I may touch His garment, I shall be made well.” 22 But Jesus turned around, and when He saw her He said, “Be of good cheer, daughter; (W)your faith has made you well.” And the woman was made well from that hour.
23 (X)When Jesus came into the ruler’s house, and saw (Y)the flute players and the noisy crowd wailing, 24 He said to them, (Z)“Make room, for the girl is not dead, but sleeping.” And they ridiculed Him. 25 But when the crowd was put outside, He went in and (AA)took her by the hand, and the girl arose. 26 And the (AB)report of this went out into all that land.
Two Blind Men Healed
27 When Jesus departed from there, (AC)two blind men followed Him, crying out and saying, (AD)“Son of David, have mercy on us!”
28 And when He had come into the house, the blind men came to Him. And Jesus said to them, “Do you believe that I am able to do this?”
They said to Him, “Yes, Lord.”
29 Then He touched their eyes, saying, “According to your faith let it be to you.” 30 And their eyes were opened. And Jesus sternly warned them, saying, (AE)“See that no one knows it.” 31 (AF)But when they had departed, they [g]spread the news about Him in all that [h]country.
A Mute Man Speaks
32 (AG)As they went out, behold, they brought to Him a man, mute and demon-possessed. 33 And when the demon was cast out, the mute spoke. And the multitudes marveled, saying, “It was never seen like this in Israel!”
34 But the Pharisees said, (AH)“He casts out demons by the ruler of the demons.”
The Compassion of Jesus(AI)
35 Then Jesus went about all the cities and villages, (AJ)teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease [i]among the people. 36 (AK)But when He saw the multitudes, He was moved with compassion for them, because they were [j]weary and scattered, (AL)like sheep having no shepherd. 37 Then He said to His disciples, (AM)“The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few. 38 (AN)Therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.”

Jesus Heals a Paralytic
9 And getting into a boat he crossed over and came to (A)his own city. 2 (B)And behold, some people brought to him a paralytic, lying on a bed. And when Jesus (C)saw their faith, he said to the paralytic, (D)“Take heart, my son; (E)your sins are forgiven.” 3 And behold, some of the scribes said to themselves, (F)“This man is blaspheming.” 4 But Jesus, (G)knowing[a] their thoughts, said, “Why do you think evil in your hearts? 5 For which is easier, to say, ‘Your sins are forgiven,’ or to say, ‘Rise and walk’? 6 But that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins”—he then said to the paralytic—“Rise, pick up your bed and go home.” 7 And he rose and went home. 8 When the crowds saw it, (H)they were afraid, and (I)they glorified God, who had (J)given such authority to men.
Jesus Calls Matthew
9 (K)As Jesus passed on from there, he saw a man called (L)Matthew sitting at the tax booth, and he said to him, “Follow me.” And he rose and followed him.
10 And as Jesus[b] reclined at table in the house, behold, many (M)tax collectors and sinners came and were reclining with Jesus and his disciples. 11 And when the Pharisees saw this, they said to his disciples, (N)“Why does your teacher eat with (O)tax collectors and sinners?” 12 But when he heard it, he said, “Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick. 13 Go and learn (P)what this means: (Q)‘I desire mercy, and not sacrifice.’ For (R)I came not to call the righteous, (S)but sinners.”
A Question About Fasting

(X)The days will come when the bridegroom is taken away from them, and (Y)then they will fast. 16 No one puts a piece of unshrunk cloth on an old garment, for the patch tears away from the garment, and a worse tear is made. 17 Neither is new wine put into old (Z)wineskins. If it is, the skins burst and the wine is spilled and the skins are destroyed. But new wine is put into fresh wineskins, and so both are preserved.”

Jesus Heals Two Blind Men
27 (AL)And as Jesus passed on from there, two blind men followed him, crying aloud, “Have mercy on us, (AM)Son of David.” 28 When he entered the house, the blind men came to him, and Jesus said to them, “Do you believe that I am able to do this?” They said to him, “Yes, Lord.” 29 (AN)Then he touched their eyes, saying, (AO)“According to your faith let it be done to you.” 30 And their eyes were opened. And Jesus sternly warned them, (AP)“See that no one knows about it.” 31 (AQ)But they went away and spread his fame through all that district.
Jesus Heals a Man Unable to Speak
32 As they were going away, behold, a (AR)demon-oppressed man who was mute (AS)was brought to him. 33 And when the demon had been cast out, the mute man spoke. And the crowds (AT)marveled, saying, “Never was anything like this seen in Israel.” 34 But the Pharisees said, “He casts out demons by the prince of demons.”
The Harvest Is Plentiful, the Laborers Few
35 (AU)And Jesus went throughout all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues and proclaiming the gospel of the kingdom and healing every disease and every affliction. 36 (AV)When he saw the crowds, (AW)he had compassion for them, because they were harassed and helpless, (AX)like sheep without a shepherd. 37 (AY)Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; 38 therefore (AZ)pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to (BA)send out laborers into his harvest.”

13 But go ye and learn what that meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice: for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.
14 Then came to him the disciples of John, saying, Why do we and the Pharisees fast oft, but thy disciples fast not?
15 And Jesus said unto them, Can the children of the bridechamber mourn, as long as the bridegroom is with them? but the days will come, when the bridegroom shall be taken from them, and then shall they fast.
16 No man putteth a piece of new cloth unto an old garment, for that which is put in to fill it up taketh from the garment, and the rent is made worse.
17 Neither do men put new wine into old bottles: else the bottles break, and the wine runneth out, and the bottles perish: but they put new wine into new bottles, and both are preserved.
18 While he spake these things unto them, behold, there came a certain ruler, and worshipped him, saying, My daughter is even now dead: but come and lay thy hand upon her, and she shall live.
19 And Jesus arose, and followed him, and so did his disciples.
20 And, behold, a woman, which was diseased with an issue of blood twelve years, came behind him, and touched the hem of his garment:
21 For she said within herself, If I may but touch his garment, I shall be whole.
22 But Jesus turned him about, and when he saw her, he said, Daughter, be of good comfort; thy faith hath made thee whole. And the woman was made whole from that hour.
23 And when Jesus came into the ruler's house, and saw the minstrels and the people making a noise,
24 He said unto them, Give place: for the maid is not dead, but sleepeth. And they laughed him to scorn.
25 But when the people were put forth, he went in, and took her by the hand, and the maid arose.
26 And the fame hereof went abroad into all that land.
27 And when Jesus departed thence, two blind men followed him, crying, and saying, Thou son of David, have mercy on us.

Jesús sana a un paralítico(A)
9 Entonces, entrando Jesús en la barca, pasó al otro lado y vino a su ciudad. 2 Y sucedió que le llevaron un paralítico tendido sobre una camilla. Al ver Jesús la fe de ellos, dijo al paralítico:
—Ten ánimo, hijo; tus pecados te son perdonados.
3 Entonces algunos de los escribas se decían a sí mismos: «Éste blasfema». 4 Conociendo Jesús los pensamientos de ellos, dijo:
—¿Por qué pensáis mal en vuestros corazones? 5 ¿Qué es más fácil, decir: “Los pecados te son perdonados”, o decir: “Levántate y anda”? 6 Pues para que sepáis que el Hijo del hombre tiene potestad en la tierra para perdonar pecados —dijo entonces al paralítico—: Levántate, toma tu camilla y vete a tu casa.
7 Entonces él se levantó y se fue a su casa. 8 La gente, al verlo, se maravilló y glorificó a Dios, que había dado tal potestad a los hombres.
Llamamiento de Mateo(B)

—Los sanos no tienen necesidad de médico, sino los enfermos. 13 Id, pues, y aprended lo que significa: “Misericordia quiero y no sacrificios”, porque no he venido a llamar a justos, sino a pecadores al arrepentimiento.
La pregunta sobre el ayuno(C)
14 Entonces se le acercaron los discípulos de Juan y le preguntaron:
—¿Por qué nosotros y los fariseos ayunamos muchas veces, y tus discípulos no ayunan?
15 Jesús les dijo:
—¿Acaso pueden los que están de bodas tener luto entre tanto que el esposo está con ellos? Pero vendrán días cuando el esposo les será quitado, y entonces ayunarán. 16 Nadie pone remiendo de paño nuevo en vestido viejo, porque tal remiendo tira del vestido y se hace peor la rotura. 17 Ni echan vino nuevo en odres viejos; de otra manera los odres se rompen, el vino se derrama y los odres se pierden; pero echa el vino nuevo en odres nuevos, y lo uno y lo otro se conservan juntamente.
La hija de Jairo, y la mujer con flujo de sangre(D)
18 Mientras él les decía estas cosas, llegó un dignatario y se postró ante él, diciendo:
—Mi hija acaba de morir; pero ven y pon tu mano sobre ella, y vivirá.
19 Jesús se levantó y lo siguió con sus discípulos. 20 En esto, una mujer enferma de flujo de sangre desde hacía doce años se le acercó por detrás y tocó el borde de su manto, 21 porque se decía a sí misma: «Con sólo tocar su manto, seré salva.»
22 Pero Jesús, volviéndose y mirándola, dijo:
—Ten ánimo, hija; tu fe te ha salvado.
Y la mujer fue salva desde aquella hora.
23 Cuando entró Jesús en la casa del dignatario y vio a los que tocaban flautas y a la gente que hacía alboroto, 24 les dijo:
—Apartaos, porque la niña no está muerta, sino que duerme.
Y se burlaban de él. 25 Pero cuando la gente fue echada fuera, entró y tomó de la mano a la niña, y ella se levantó. 26 Y se difundió esta noticia por toda aquella tierra.
Dos ciegos reciben la vista
27 Cuando salió Jesús, lo siguieron dos ciegos, diciéndole a gritos:
—¡Ten misericordia de nosotros, Hijo de David!
28 Al llegar a la casa, se le acercaron los ciegos y Jesús les preguntó:
—¿Creéis que puedo hacer esto?
Ellos dijeron:
—Sí, Señor.
29 Entonces les tocó los ojos, diciendo:
—Conforme a vuestra fe os sea hecho.
30 Y los ojos de ellos fueron abiertos. Jesús les encargó rigurosamente, diciendo:
—Mirad que nadie lo sepa.
31 Pero cuando salieron, divulgaron la fama de él por toda aquella tierra.
Un mudo habla
32 Tan pronto ellos salieron, le trajeron un mudo endemoniado. 33 Una vez expulsado el demonio, el mudo habló. La gente se maravillaba y decía:
—Nunca se ha visto cosa semejante en Israel.
34 Pero los fariseos decían:
—Por el príncipe de los demonios echa fuera los demonios.
La mies es mucha
35 Recorría Jesús todas las ciudades y aldeas, enseñando en las sinagogas de ellos, predicando el evangelio del Reino y sanando toda enfermedad y toda dolencia en el pueblo. 36 Al ver las multitudes tuvo compasión de ellas, porque estaban desamparadas y dispersas como ovejas que no tienen pastor. 37 Entonces dijo a sus discípulos: «A la verdad la mies es mucha, pero los obreros pocos. 38 Rogad, pues, al Señor de la mies, que envíe obreros a su mies.»
