問安
1 奉 神旨意作基督耶穌使徒的保羅，寫信給住在以弗所，在基督耶穌裡忠心的聖徒。 2 願恩惠平安從我們的父 神和主耶穌基督臨到你們。
在基督裡屬靈的福分
3 我們主耶穌基督的父 神是應當稱頌的。他在基督裡，曾經把天上各種屬靈的福分賜給我們： 4 就如創立世界以前，他在基督裡揀選了我們，使我們因著愛，在他面前成為聖潔，沒有瑕疵。 5 他又按著自己旨意所喜悅的，預定我們藉著耶穌基督得兒子的名分， 6 好使他恩典的榮耀得著頌讚。這恩典是他在愛子裡賜給我們的。 7 我們在他愛子裡，藉著他的血蒙了救贖，過犯得到赦免，都是按著他豐盛的恩典。 8 這恩典是他用各樣的智慧和聰明，充充足足地賜給我們的； 9 他照著自己在基督裡預先安排的美意，使我們知道他旨意的奧祕， 10 到了所計劃的時機成熟，就使天上地上的萬有，都在基督裡同歸於一。 11 那憑著自己旨意所計劃而行萬事的，按著他預先所安排的，預定我們在基督裡得基業（“得基業”或譯：“成為 神的產業”）， 12 藉著我們這在基督裡首先有盼望的人，使他的榮耀得著頌讚。 13 你們既然聽了真理的道，就是使你們得救的福音，也信了基督，就在他裡面受了所應許的聖靈作為印記。 14 這聖靈是我們得基業的憑據，直到 神的產業得贖，使他的榮耀得著頌讚。
保羅的祈禱
15 因此，我聽到你們在主耶穌裡的信心，和對眾聖徒的愛心， 16 就不住地為你們獻上感謝。我禱告的時候，常常提到你們， 17 求我們主耶穌基督的 神，榮耀的父，賜給你們智慧和啟示的靈，使你們充分地認識他， 18 並且使你們心靈的眼睛明亮，可以知道他的呼召有怎樣的盼望；他基業的榮耀，在聖徒中是多麼的豐盛； 19 神照著他強大的力量，向我們信他的人顯出的能力，是何等的浩大。 20 這力量運行在基督身上，使他從死人中復活，並且在天上坐在自己的右邊， 21 遠超過一切執政的、掌權的、有能的、作主的，和今生來世所能舉出的一切名銜。 22 神又使萬有都歸服在他的腳下，並且賜他給教會作萬有的元首。 23 教會是他的身體，是那充滿萬有者所完全充滿的。

2 Que Dios nuestro Padre y el Señor Jesucristo os concedan gracia y paz.
Bendiciones espirituales en Cristo
3 Alabado sea Dios, Padre de nuestro Señor Jesucristo, que nos ha bendecido en las regiones celestiales con toda bendición espiritual en Cristo. 4 Dios nos escogió en él antes de la creación del mundo, para que seamos santos y sin mancha delante de él. En amor 5 nos predestinó para ser adoptados como hijos suyos por medio de Jesucristo, según el buen propósito de su voluntad, 6 para alabanza de su gloriosa gracia, que nos concedió en su Amado. 7 En él tenemos la redención mediante su sangre, el perdón de nuestros pecados, conforme a las riquezas de la gracia 8 que Dios nos dio en abundancia con toda sabiduría y entendimiento. 9 Él nos hizo conocer el misterio de su voluntad conforme al buen propósito que de antemano estableció en Cristo, 10 para llevarlo a cabo cuando se cumpliera el tiempo, esto es, reunir en él todas las cosas, tanto las del cielo como las de la tierra.
11 En Cristo también fuimos hechos herederos,[c] pues fuimos predestinados según el plan de aquel que hace todas las cosas conforme al designio de su voluntad, 12 a fin de que nosotros, que ya hemos puesto nuestra esperanza en Cristo, seamos para alabanza de su gloria. 13 En él también vosotros, cuando oísteis el mensaje de la verdad, el evangelio que os trajo la salvación, y lo creísteis, fuisteis marcados con el sello que es el Espíritu Santo prometido. 14 Este garantiza nuestra herencia hasta que llegue la redención final del pueblo adquirido por Dios,[d] para alabanza de su gloria.
Acción de gracias e intercesión
15 Por eso yo, por mi parte, desde que me enteré de la fe que tenéis en el Señor Jesús y del amor que demostráis por todos los santos, 16 no he dejado de dar gracias por vosotros al recordaros en mis oraciones. 17 Pido que el Dios de nuestro Señor Jesucristo, el Padre glorioso, os dé el Espíritu de sabiduría y de revelación, para que lo conozcáis mejor. 18 Pido también que os sean iluminados los ojos del corazón para que sepáis a qué esperanza él os ha llamado, cuál es la riqueza de su gloriosa herencia entre los santos, 19 y cuán incomparable es la grandeza de su poder a favor de los que creemos. Ese poder es la fuerza grandiosa y eficaz 20 que Dios ejerció en Cristo cuando lo resucitó de entre los muertos y lo sentó a su derecha en las regiones celestiales, 21 muy por encima de todo gobierno y autoridad, poder y dominio, y de cualquier otro nombre que se invoque, no solo en este mundo, sino también en el venidero. 22 Dios sometió todas las cosas al dominio de Cristo,[e] y lo dio como cabeza de todo a la iglesia. 23 Esta, que es su cuerpo, es la plenitud de aquel que lo llena todo por completo.

To God’s holy people(C) in Ephesus,[a](D) the faithful(E) in Christ Jesus:
2 Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.(F)
Praise for Spiritual Blessings in Christ
3 Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,(G) who has blessed us in the heavenly realms(H) with every spiritual blessing in Christ. 4 For he chose us(I) in him before the creation of the world(J) to be holy and blameless(K) in his sight. In love(L) 5 he[b] predestined(M) us for adoption to sonship[c](N) through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure(O) and will— 6 to the praise of his glorious grace,(P) which he has freely given us in the One he loves.(Q) 7 In him we have redemption(R) through his blood,(S) the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches(T) of God’s grace 8 that he lavished on us. With all wisdom and understanding, 9 he[d] made known to us the mystery(U) of his will according to his good pleasure, which he purposed(V) in Christ, 10 to be put into effect when the times reach their fulfillment(W)—to bring unity to all things in heaven and on earth under Christ.(X)

Thanksgiving and Prayer
15 For this reason, ever since I heard about your faith in the Lord Jesus(AI) and your love for all God’s people,(AJ) 16 I have not stopped giving thanks for you,(AK) remembering you in my prayers.(AL) 17 I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father,(AM) may give you the Spirit[f] of wisdom(AN) and revelation, so that you may know him better. 18 I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened(AO) in order that you may know the hope to which he has called(AP) you, the riches(AQ) of his glorious inheritance(AR) in his holy people,(AS) 19 and his incomparably great power for us who believe. That power(AT) is the same as the mighty strength(AU) 20 he exerted when he raised Christ from the dead(AV) and seated him at his right hand(AW) in the heavenly realms,(AX) 21 far above all rule and authority, power and dominion,(AY) and every name(AZ) that is invoked, not only in the present age but also in the one to come.(BA) 22 And God placed all things under his feet(BB) and appointed him to be head(BC) over everything for the church, 23 which is his body,(BD) the fullness of him(BE) who fills everything in every way.(BF)

2 Grace be to you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ.
3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:
4 According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:
5 Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,
6 To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.

18 The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,
19 And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power,
20 Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places,
21 Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come:
22 And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church,
23 Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all.
