15 И рече Господ на Моисея, думайки:

²обади на синовете Израилеви и им кажи: кога влезете в земята, в която ще живеете и която ви давам,

³^(A)и наченете да принасяте жертва Господу, всесъжение, или жертва клана, от волове и овци, за да изпълните оброк, или от усърдие, или през празниците си, за да извършите приятно Господу благоухание, –

⁴^(B)тогава оня, който принася жертвата си Господу, трябва да принесе за хлебния принос една десета (от ефа) пшенично брашно, смесено с четвърт ин елей;

⁵и вино за възлияние принасяй по четвърт ин при всесъжение, или при клана жертва, за всяко агне (за приятно Господу благоухание).

⁶А кога принасяш овен, принасяй за хлебен принос две десети от ефа пшенично брашно, смесено с една трета ин елей;

⁷и вино за възлияние принасяй една трета ин за приятно Господу благоухание.

⁸Ако юнец принасяш за всесъжение, или клана жертва, за да изпълниш оброк или за мирна жертва Господу,

⁹то заедно с юнеца принеси хлебен принос три десети от ефа пшенично брашно, смесено с половина ин елей,

¹⁰и вино за възлияние принасяй половина ин в жертва, за приятно Господу благоухание.

¹¹Тъй прави при всеки принос от юнец и овен, от агне и яре;

¹²според броя на жертвите, които принасяте, тъй правете при всяка от тях, според броя им.

¹³^(C)Всеки туземец тъй трябва да прави, кога принася жертва за приятно Господу благоухание;

¹⁴и ако между вас живее пришълец, или кой и да бил между вас в родовете ви, и принесе жертва за приятно Господу благоухание, и той трябва да прави тъй, както правите вие;

¹⁵^(D)за вас, народ (Господен), и за пришълеца, който живее (между вас), наредбата да е една, наредба вечна в поколенията ви: каквото сте вие, това да бъде и пришълецът пред Господа;

¹⁶^(E)един закон и едни права да бъдат за вас и за пришълеца, който живее между вас.

¹⁷Каза още Господ на Моисея, думайки:

¹⁸обади на синовете Израилеви и им кажи: кога влезете в земята, в която ви водя,

¹⁹^(F)и почнете да ядете хляб от оная земя, възнасяйте Господу възношение;

²⁰^(G)от начатъците на тестото си за възношение възнасяйте питка; възнасяйте я като възношение от гумното;

²¹от начатъците на тестото си давайте за възношение Господу в поколенията си.

²²^(H)Ако ли по незнание престъпите и не изпълните всички тия заповеди, които Господ изрече на Моисея,

²³всичко, що ви е Господ (Бог) заповядал чрез Моисея, от деня, когато Господ ви е заповядал, и занапред в поколенията ви, –

²⁴^(I)ако грешката е направена по несъгледване от страна на народа, то нека цялото общество принесе един юнец (без недостатък) за всесъжение, за приятно Господу благоухание, заедно с хлебния му принос и възлиянието, според наредбите, и един козел в жертва за грях.

²⁵И свещеникът да очисти цялото общество синове Израилеви, и ще им се прости, защото това е било погрешка, и те са принесли своя принос за жертва Господу, и жертвата си за грях пред Господа за погрешката си;

²⁶и ще се прости на цялото общество синове Израилеви и на пришълеца, който живее между тях, защото целият народ е направил това по погрешка.

²⁷^(J)Ако ли някой сам съгреши по незнание, нека принесе едногодишна коза в жертва за грях.

²⁸И свещеникът да очисти тая душа, която неволно е сторила пред Господа грях, и тя ще се очисти и ще ѝ се прости.

²⁹^(K)Един закон да бъде за вас, както за природния жител от синовете Израилеви, тъй и за пришълеца, който живее между вас, когато някой стори нещо по погрешка.

³⁰Ако ли някой от туземците или пришълците извърши нещо с дръзка ръка, той хули Господа: да се изтреби тая душа из народа си,

³¹защото той е презрял словото на Господа и е нарушил заповедта Му; да бъде изтребена тая душа; грехът ѝ да бъде върху нея.

³²^(L)Когато синовете Израилеви бяха в пустинята, намериха едного, че береше дърва в съботен ден;

³³и ония, които го намериха, че бере дърва (в съботен ден), доведоха го при Моисея и Аарона и при цялото общество (синове Израилеви);

³⁴^(M)и туриха го под стража, защото не беше още определено, какво да се прави с него.

³⁵И рече Господ на Моисея: тоя човек трябва да умре; цялото общество да го убие с камъни вън от стана.

³⁶^(N)Тогава цялото общество го изведе вън от стана, и го убиха с камъни, и той умря, както заповяда Господ на Моисея.

³⁷И рече Господ на Моисея, думайки:

³⁸^(O)обади на синовете Израилеви и им кажи да си правят ресни по скутовете на своите дрехи в поколенията си, и в ресните, що са по скутовете, да вплитат нишки от синкава вълна;

³⁹и да ги носите в ресните, та, кога ги гледате, да си спомняте за всички заповеди Господни и да ги изпълнявате и да не вървите след сърцето си и очите си, които ви влекат към блудодеяние,

⁴⁰^(P)за да помните и изпълнявате всички Мои заповеди и да бъдете свети пред вашия Бог.

Laws of Grain and Drink Offerings

15 And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, ²^(A)“Speak to the children of Israel, and say to them: ‘When you have come into the land you are to inhabit, which I am giving to you, ³and you ^(B)make an offering by fire to the Lord, a burnt offering or a sacrifice, ^(C)to fulfill a vow or as a freewill offering or ^(D)in your appointed feasts, to make a ^(E)sweet^[a] aroma to the Lord, from the herd or the flock, ⁴then ^(F)he who presents his offering to the Lord shall bring ^(G)a grain offering of one-tenth of an ephah of fine flour mixed ^(H)with one-fourth of a hin of oil; ⁵^(I)and one-fourth of a hin of wine as a drink offering you shall prepare with the burnt offering or the sacrifice, for each ^(J)lamb. ⁶^(K)Or for a ram you shall prepare as a grain offering two-tenths of an ephah of fine flour mixed with one-third of a hin of oil; ⁷and as a drink offering you shall offer one-third of a hin of wine as a sweet aroma to the Lord. ⁸And when you prepare a young bull as a burnt offering, or as a sacrifice to fulfill a vow, or as a ^(L)peace offering to the Lord, ⁹then shall be offered ^(M)with the young bull a grain offering of three-tenths of an ephah of fine flour mixed with half a hin of oil; ¹⁰and you shall bring as the drink offering half a hin of wine as an offering made by fire, a sweet aroma to the Lord.

¹¹^(N)‘Thus it shall be done for each young bull, for each ram, or for each lamb or young goat. ¹²According to the number that you prepare, so you shall do with everyone according to their number. ¹³All who are native-born shall do these things in this manner, in presenting an offering made by fire, a sweet aroma to the Lord. ¹⁴And if a stranger ^[b]dwells with you, or whoever is among you throughout your generations, and would present an offering made by fire, a sweet aroma to the Lord, just as you do, so shall he do. ¹⁵^(O)One ^[c]ordinance shall be for you of the assembly and for the stranger who dwells with you, an ordinance forever throughout your generations; as you are, so shall the stranger be before the Lord. ¹⁶One law and one custom shall be for you and for the stranger who dwells with you.’ ”

¹⁷Again the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, ¹⁸^(P)“Speak to the children of Israel, and say to them: ‘When you come into the land to which I bring you, ¹⁹then it will be, when you eat of ^(Q)the bread of the land, that you shall offer up a heave offering to the Lord. ²⁰^(R)You shall offer up a cake of the first of your ground meal as a heave offering; as ^(S)a heave offering of the threshing floor, so shall you offer it up. ²¹Of the first of your ground meal you shall give to the Lord a heave offering throughout your generations.

Laws Concerning Unintentional Sin

²²^(T)‘If you sin unintentionally, and do not observe all these commandments which the Lord has spoken to Moses— ²³all that the Lord has commanded you by the hand of Moses, from the day the Lord gave commandment and onward throughout your generations— ²⁴then it will be, ^(U)if it is unintentionally committed, ^[d]without the knowledge of the congregation, that the whole congregation shall offer one young bull as a burnt offering, as a sweet aroma to the Lord, ^(V)with its grain offering and its drink offering, according to the ordinance, and ^(W)one kid of the goats as a sin offering. ²⁵^(X)So the priest shall make atonement for the whole congregation of the children of Israel, and it shall be forgiven them, for it was unintentional; they shall bring their offering, an offering made by fire to the Lord, and their sin offering before the Lord, for their unintended sin. ²⁶It shall be forgiven the whole congregation of the children of Israel and the stranger who dwells among them, because all the people did it unintentionally.

²⁷‘And ^(Y)if a person sins unintentionally, then he shall bring a female goat in its first year as a sin offering. ²⁸^(Z)So the priest shall make atonement for the person who sins unintentionally, when he sins unintentionally before the Lord, to make atonement for him; and it shall be forgiven him. ²⁹^(AA)You shall have one law for him who sins unintentionally, for him who is native-born among the children of Israel and for the stranger who dwells among them.

Law Concerning Presumptuous Sin

³⁰^(AB)‘But the person who does anything ^[e]presumptuously, whether he is native-born or a stranger, that one ^[f]brings reproach on the Lord, and he shall be ^[g]cut off from among his people. ³¹Because he has ^(AC)despised the word of the Lord, and has broken His commandment, that person shall be completely cut off; his ^[h]guilt shall be upon him.’ ”

Penalty for Violating the Sabbath^(AD)

³²Now while the children of Israel were in the wilderness, ^(AE)they found a man gathering sticks on the Sabbath day. ³³And those who found him gathering sticks brought him to Moses and Aaron, and to all the congregation. ³⁴They put him ^(AF)under guard, because it had not been explained what should be done to him.

³⁵Then the Lord said to Moses, ^(AG)“The man must surely be put to death; all the congregation shall ^(AH)stone him with stones outside the camp.” ³⁶So, as the Lord commanded Moses, all the congregation brought him outside the camp and stoned him with stones, and he died.

Tassels on Garments

³⁷Again the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, ³⁸“Speak to the children of Israel: Tell ^(AI)them to make tassels on the corners of their garments throughout their generations, and to put a blue thread in the tassels of the corners. ³⁹And you shall have the tassel, that you may look upon it and ^(AJ)remember all the commandments of the Lord and do them, and that you ^(AK)may not ^(AL)follow the harlotry to which your own heart and your own eyes are inclined, ⁴⁰and that you may remember and do all My commandments, and be ^(AM)holy for your God. ⁴¹I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, to be your God: I am the Lord your God.”

Supplementary Offerings

15 The Lord said to Moses, ²“Speak to the Israelites and say to them: ‘After you enter the land I am giving you^(A) as a home ³and you present to the Lord food offerings from the herd or the flock,^(B) as an aroma pleasing to the Lord^(C)—whether burnt offerings^(D) or sacrifices, for special vows or freewill offerings^(E) or festival offerings^(F)— ⁴then the person who brings an offering shall present to the Lord a grain offering^(G) of a tenth of an ephah^[a] of the finest flour^(H) mixed with a quarter of a hin^[b] of olive oil. ⁵With each lamb^(I) for the burnt offering or the sacrifice, prepare a quarter of a hin of wine^(J) as a drink offering.^(K)

⁶“‘With a ram^(L) prepare a grain offering^(M) of two-tenths of an ephah^[c]^(N) of the finest flour mixed with a third of a hin^[d] of olive oil,^(O) ⁷and a third of a hin of wine^(P) as a drink offering.^(Q) Offer it as an aroma pleasing to the Lord.^(R)

⁸“‘When you prepare a young bull^(S) as a burnt offering or sacrifice, for a special vow^(T) or a fellowship offering^(U) to the Lord, ⁹bring with the bull a grain offering^(V) of three-tenths of an ephah^[e]^(W) of the finest flour mixed with half a hin^[f] of olive oil, ¹⁰and also bring half a hin of wine^(X) as a drink offering.^(Y) This will be a food offering, an aroma pleasing to the Lord.^(Z) ¹¹Each bull or ram, each lamb or young goat, is to be prepared in this manner. ¹²Do this for each one, for as many as you prepare.^(AA)

¹³“‘Everyone who is native-born^(AB) must do these things in this way when they present a food offering as an aroma pleasing to the Lord.^(AC) ¹⁴For the generations to come,^(AD) whenever a foreigner^(AE) or anyone else living among you presents a food^(AF) offering^(AG) as an aroma pleasing to the Lord, they must do exactly as you do. ¹⁵The community is to have the same rules for you and for the foreigner residing among you; this is a lasting ordinance for the generations to come.^(AH) You and the foreigner shall be the same before the Lord: ¹⁶The same laws and regulations will apply both to you and to the foreigner residing among you.^(AI)’”

¹⁷The Lord said to Moses, ¹⁸“Speak to the Israelites and say to them: ‘When you enter the land to which I am taking you^(AJ) ¹⁹and you eat the food of the land,^(AK) present a portion as an offering to the Lord.^(AL) ²⁰Present a loaf from the first of your ground meal^(AM) and present it as an offering from the threshing floor.^(AN) ²¹Throughout the generations to come^(AO) you are to give this offering to the Lord from the first of your ground meal.^(AP)

Offerings for Unintentional Sins

²²“‘Now if you as a community unintentionally fail to keep any of these commands the Lord gave Moses^(AQ)— ²³any of the Lord’s commands to you through him, from the day the Lord gave them and continuing through the generations to come^(AR)— ²⁴and if this is done unintentionally^(AS) without the community being aware of it,^(AT) then the whole community is to offer a young bull for a burnt offering^(AU) as an aroma pleasing to the Lord,^(AV) along with its prescribed grain offering^(AW) and drink offering,^(AX) and a male goat for a sin offering.^[g]^(AY) ²⁵The priest is to make atonement for the whole Israelite community, and they will be forgiven,^(AZ) for it was not intentional^(BA) and they have presented to the Lord for their wrong a food offering^(BB) and a sin offering.^(BC) ²⁶The whole Israelite community and the foreigners residing among them will be forgiven, because all the people were involved in the unintentional wrong.^(BD)

²⁷“‘But if just one person sins unintentionally,^(BE) that person must bring a year-old female goat for a sin offering.^(BF) ²⁸The priest is to make atonement^(BG) before the Lord for the one who erred by sinning unintentionally, and when atonement has been made, that person will be forgiven.^(BH) ²⁹One and the same law applies to everyone who sins unintentionally, whether a native-born Israelite or a foreigner residing among you.^(BI)

³⁰“‘But anyone who sins defiantly,^(BJ) whether native-born or foreigner,^(BK) blasphemes the Lord^(BL) and must be cut off from the people of Israel.^(BM) ³¹Because they have despised^(BN) the Lord’s word and broken his commands,^(BO) they must surely be cut off; their guilt remains on them.^(BP)’”

The Sabbath-Breaker Put to Death

³²While the Israelites were in the wilderness,^(BQ) a man was found gathering wood on the Sabbath day.^(BR) ³³Those who found him gathering wood brought him to Moses and Aaron and the whole assembly, ³⁴and they kept him in custody, because it was not clear what should be done to him.^(BS) ³⁵Then the Lord said to Moses, “The man must die.^(BT) The whole assembly must stone him outside the camp.^(BU)” ³⁶So the assembly took him outside the camp and stoned him^(BV) to death,^(BW) as the Lord commanded Moses.^(BX)

Tassels on Garments

³⁷The Lord said to Moses, ³⁸“Speak to the Israelites and say to them: ‘Throughout the generations to come^(BY) you are to make tassels on the corners of your garments,^(BZ) with a blue cord on each tassel. ³⁹You will have these tassels to look at and so you will remember^(CA) all the commands of the Lord, that you may obey them and not prostitute yourselves^(CB) by chasing after the lusts of your own hearts^(CC) and eyes. ⁴⁰Then you will remember to obey all my commands^(CD) and will be consecrated to your God.^(CE) ⁴¹I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of Egypt to be your God.^(CF) I am the Lord your God.^(CG)’”
