6 Смее ли някой от вас, кога има тъжба с другиго, да се съди пред нечестивците, а не пред светиите?
2 (A)Не знаете ли, че светиите ще съдят света? И ако светът бъде съден от вас, то вие недостойни ли сте да съдите най-малките работи?
3 Не знаете ли, че ангели ще съдим? А колко повече житейски работи?
4 Ако, прочее, имате съд за житейски работи, поставяйте за съдии унижените в църквата.
5 За ваш срам казвам: тъй ли няма помежду ви ни един мъдър, който да може да отсъжда между братята си?
6 А брат с брата се съди, и то пред неверници!
7 (B)Твърде срамотно е за вас вече това, че имате съдби помежду си; защо по-добре не си останете обидени? Защо по-добре не претърпите щета?
8 Но вие сами обиждате и ощетявате, и то братя.
9 (C)Или не знаете, че неправедници няма да наследят царството Божие? Не се лъжете: нито блудници, ни идолослужители, ни прелюбодейци, нито малакийци, ни мъжеложници,
10 нито крадци, ни користолюбци, ни пияници, нито хулители, ни грабители няма да наследят царството Божие.
11 (D)И такива бяхте някои от вас; но се умихте, но се осветихте, но се оправдахте в името на Господа нашего Иисуса Христа и чрез Духа на нашия Бог.
12 (E)Всичко ми е позволено, ала не всичко е полезно; всичко ми е позволено, но няма да бъда аз обладан от нещо.
13 (F)Храната е за корема, и коремът за храната; но Бог ще погуби и едното и другото. Ала тялото не е за блудство, а за Господа, а Господ – за тялото.
14 (G)Бог и Господа възкреси, и нас ще възкреси със силата Си.
15 (H)Нима не знаете, че телата ви са Христови членове? И тъй, да вземали членовете на Христа и да ги направя членове на блудница? Съвсем не!
16 (I)Или не знаете, че, който се съединява с блудница, става едно тяло с нея? Защото казано е: „ще бъдат двамата една плът“.
17 А който се съединява с Господа, един дух е с Него.
18 Избягвайте блудството; всеки грях, що прави човек, е извън тялото, а блудникът против собственото си тяло греши.
19 (J)Или не знаете, че тялото ви е храм на Духа Светаго, Който живее във вас и Когото имате от Бога, и че не принадлежите на себе си?

Lawsuits Against Believers
6 When one of you has a grievance against another, does he dare go to law before the unrighteous (A)instead of the saints? 2 Or do you not know that (B)the saints will judge the world? And if the world is to be judged by you, are you incompetent to try trivial cases? 3 Do you not know that we are to judge angels? How much more, then, matters pertaining to this life! 4 So if you have such cases, (C)why do you lay them before those who have no standing in the church? 5 (D)I say this to your shame. Can it be that there is no one among you wise enough to settle a dispute between the brothers, 6 but brother goes to law against brother, and that before unbelievers? 7 To have lawsuits at all with one another is already a defeat for you. (E)Why not rather suffer wrong? Why not rather be defrauded? 8 But you yourselves wrong and defraud—even (F)your own brothers![a]
9 Or do you not know that the unrighteous[b] will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: (G)neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality,[c] 10 nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. 11 And (H)such were some of you. But (I)you were washed, (J)you were sanctified, (K)you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.
Flee Sexual Immorality
12 (L)“All things are lawful for me,” but not all things are helpful. “All things are lawful for me,” but I will not be dominated by anything. 13 (M)“Food is meant for the stomach and the stomach for food”—and God will destroy both one (N)and the other. The body is not meant for sexual immorality, but (O)for the Lord, and (P)the Lord for the body. 14 And (Q)God raised the Lord and (R)will also raise us up (S)by his power. 15 Do you not know that (T)your bodies are members of Christ? Shall I then take the members of Christ and make them members of a prostitute? Never! 16 Or do you not know that he who is joined[d] to a prostitute becomes one body with her? For, as it is written, (U)“The two will become one flesh.” 17 But he who is joined to the Lord (V)becomes one spirit with him. 18 (W)Flee from sexual immorality. Every other sin[e] a person commits is outside the body, but the sexually immoral person (X)sins against his own body. 19 Or (Y)do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? (Z)You are not your own, 20 (AA)for you were bought with a price. (AB)So glorify God in your body.

6 Dare any of you that hath a cause against another, be deemed at wicked men, and not at holy men? [Dare any of you, having a cause against another, be deemed at wicked men, and not at saints, or holy men?]
2 Whether ye know not, that saints shall deem this world? And if the world shall be deemed by you, be ye unworthy to deem the least things?
3 Know ye not, that we shall deem angels? how much more worldly things?
4 Therefore if ye have worldly dooms, ordain ye those contemptible men [ordain ye those contemptible men, or of little reputation], that be in the church, to deem.
5 I say to make you ashamed. So there is not any wise man, that may deem betwixt a brother and his brother; [I say to your shame. So there is not any wise man, that may deem between a brother and his brother;]
6 but brother with brother striveth in doom, and that among unfaithful men.
7 And now trespass is always among you [Now forsooth trespass is all-gates in you], for ye have dooms among you. Why rather take ye not wrong? why rather suffer ye not deceit [why not more suffer ye fraud, or deceit]?
8 But also ye do wrong, and do fraud [and defraud], and that to brethren.
9 Whether ye know not, that wicked men shall not wield the kingdom of God? Do not ye err; neither lechers, neither men that serve maumets [neither men serving to idols], neither adulterers, neither lechers against kind, neither they that do lechery with men,
10 neither thieves, neither avaricious men [neither covetous men, or niggards], neither men full of drunkenness, neither cursers, neither raveners, shall wield the kingdom of God.
11 And ye were sometime these things [And these things ye were sometime]; but ye be washed, but ye be hallowed, but ye be justified in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, and in the Spirit of our God.
12 All things be leaveful to me, but not all things be speedful. All things be leaveful to me, but I shall not be brought down under any man's power.
13 Meat to the womb, and the womb to meats; and God shall destroy both this and that. And the body not to fornication, but to the Lord, and the Lord to the body.
14 For God raised the Lord, and shall raise us by his virtue.
15 Know ye not, that your bodies be members of Christ? Shall I then take the members of Christ, and shall I make them the members of a whore? God forbid [Far be it].
16 Whether ye know not, that he that cleaveth to a whore, is made one body? For he saith, There shall be twain in one flesh [There shall be two in one flesh].
17 And he that cleaveth to the Lord, is one spirit.
18 Flee ye fornication; all sin whatever sin a man doeth [all sin whatever a man shall do], is without the body; but he that doeth fornication, sinneth against his body.
19 Whether ye know not, that your members be the temple of the Holy Ghost, that is in you, whom ye have of God, and ye be not your own?
20 For ye be bought with great price. Glorify ye, and bear ye God in your body.

6 Dare any of you, having a matter against another, go to law before the unjust, and not before the saints?
2 Do ye not know that the saints shall judge the world? and if the world shall be judged by you, are ye unworthy to judge the smallest matters?
3 Know ye not that we shall judge angels? how much more things that pertain to this life?
4 If then ye have judgments of things pertaining to this life, set them to judge who are least esteemed in the church.
5 I speak to your shame. Is it so, that there is not a wise man among you? no, not one that shall be able to judge between his brethren?
6 But brother goeth to law with brother, and that before the unbelievers.
7 Now therefore there is utterly a fault among you, because ye go to law one with another. Why do ye not rather take wrong? why do ye not rather suffer yourselves to be defrauded?
8 Nay, ye do wrong, and defraud, and that your brethren.
9 Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind,
10 Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.
11 And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.
12 All things are lawful unto me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of any.
13 Meats for the belly, and the belly for meats: but God shall destroy both it and them. Now the body is not for fornication, but for the Lord; and the Lord for the body.
14 And God hath both raised up the Lord, and will also raise up us by his own power.
15 Know ye not that your bodies are the members of Christ? shall I then take the members of Christ, and make them the members of an harlot? God forbid.
16 What? know ye not that he which is joined to an harlot is one body? for two, saith he, shall be one flesh.
17 But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit.
18 Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body.
19 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?
20 For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.
