(Хвалебна песен Давидова. При съграждане дома Господен.)

95 (A)Възпейте Господу песен нова, възпейте Господу, цяла земьо;

пейте Господу, благославяйте името Му, благовестете от ден на ден Неговото спасение;

разгласяйте между народите славата Му, по всички племена – чудесата Му;

(B)защото велик е Господ и достохвален, по-страшен е Той от всички богове.

(C)Защото всички богове на народите са идоли, а Господ небесата сътвори.

(D)Слава и величие са пред лицето Му, сила и великолепие – в светилището Му.

(E)Въздайте Господу, племена народни, въздайте Господу слава и чест;

въздайте Господу слава на името Му, носете дарове и идете в Неговите двори;

поклонете се Господу със свето благолепие. Трепери пред лицето Му, цяла земьо!

10 (F)Кажете на народите: Господ царува! затова е твърда вселената, няма да се поклати. Той ще съди народите по правда.

11 (G)Да се веселят небесата и да тържествува земята; да шуми морето и онова, що го изпълня;

12 нека се радва полето и всичко, що е в него, и да ликуват всички дъбравни дървета

13 (H)пред лицето на Господа, защото иде, защото Той иде да съди земята. Той ще съди вселената по правда, и народите – по Своята истина.

Psalm 95

Worship and Warning

Come, let’s shout joyfully to the Lord,
shout triumphantly to the rock of our salvation!(A)
Let’s enter his presence with thanksgiving;
let’s shout triumphantly to him in song.(B)

For the Lord is a great God,
a great King above all gods.(C)
The depths of the earth are in his hand,
and the mountain peaks are his.(D)
The sea is his; he made it.
His hands formed the dry land.(E)

Come, let’s worship and bow down;
let’s kneel before the Lord our Maker.(F)
For he is our God,
and we are the people of his pasture,
the sheep under his care.[a](G)
Today, if you hear his voice:(H)
Do not harden your hearts as at Meribah,
as on that day at Massah in the wilderness(I)
where your ancestors tested me;
they tried me, though they had seen what I did.(J)
10 For forty years I was disgusted with that generation;
I said, “They are a people whose hearts go astray;
they do not know my ways.”(K)
11 So I swore in my anger,
“They will not enter my rest.”(L)

Psalm 95

Come,(A) let us sing for joy(B) to the Lord;
    let us shout aloud(C) to the Rock(D) of our salvation.
Let us come before him(E) with thanksgiving(F)
    and extol him with music(G) and song.

For the Lord is the great God,(H)
    the great King(I) above all gods.(J)
In his hand are the depths of the earth,(K)
    and the mountain peaks belong to him.
The sea is his, for he made it,
    and his hands formed the dry land.(L)

Come, let us bow down(M) in worship,(N)
    let us kneel(O) before the Lord our Maker;(P)
for he is our God
    and we are the people of his pasture,(Q)
    the flock under his care.

Today, if only you would hear his voice,
“Do not harden your hearts(R) as you did at Meribah,[a](S)
    as you did that day at Massah[b] in the wilderness,(T)
where your ancestors tested(U) me;
    they tried me, though they had seen what I did.
10 For forty years(V) I was angry with that generation;
    I said, ‘They are a people whose hearts go astray,(W)
    and they have not known my ways.’(X)
11 So I declared on oath(Y) in my anger,
    ‘They shall never enter my rest.’”(Z)
