85 (A)Наклони, Господи, ухото Си и чуй молитвата ми, защото съм беден и сиромах.
2 Запази душата ми, защото благоговея пред Тебе; Боже мой, спаси Твоя раб, който се уповава на Тебе.
3 Помилуй ме, Господи, защото към Тебе викам всеки ден.
4 Развесели душата на Твоя раб, защото към Тебе, Господи, възнасям душата си;
5 (B)защото Ти, Господи, си благ и милосърден и многомилостив към всички, които Те призовават.
6 Чуй, Господи, моята молитва и послушай гласа на молбата ми.
7 (C)В деня на скръбта си викам към Тебе, защото Ти ще ме чуеш.
8 (D)Между боговете няма като Тебе, Господи, и няма дела като Твоите.
9 (E)Всички сътворени от Тебе народи ще дойдат и ще се поклонят пред Тебе, Господи, и ще прославят Твоето име,
10 (F)защото Ти си велик и вършиш чудеса, – Ти, Боже, едничък Ти!
11 (G)Насочи ме, Господи, в Твоя път, и аз ще ходя в Твоята истина; утвърди сърцето ми в страха на Твоето име.
12 Ще Те възхвалям, Господи, Боже мой, от всичкото си сърце и вечно ще славя Твоето име,
13 (H)защото Твоята милост към мене е голяма: Ти избави душата ми от преизподния ад.
14 (I)Боже, горделивите въстанаха против мене, и сбирщина от размирници търси душата ми: те нямат Тебе пред себе си.
15 (J)Но Ти, Господи, Боже, Който си щедър и добросърдечен, дълготърпелив, многомилостив и истинен,
16 милостно погледни към мене и ме помилуй; дай на раба Си Твоята сила и спаси сина на Твоята рабиня;
17 покажи ми личби за добро, та да видят ония, които ме мразят, и да се засрамят, защото Ти, Господи, ми помогна и ме утеши.

85 (По слав. 84). За първия певец, псалом за Кореевите потомци {Псал. 42, надписът.}. Господи, Ти си се показал благосклонен към земята Си, Върнал си Якова от плен.
2 Простил си беззаконията на людете Си, Покрил си целия им грях. (Села).
3 Отмахнал си всичкото Си негодувание, Върнал си се от разпаления Си гняв.
4 Върни ни, Боже Спасителю наш, И прекрати негодуванието Си против нас.
5 Винаги ли ще бъдеш разгневен на нас? Ще продължаваш ли да се гневиш из род в род?
6 Не щеш ли пак да ни съживиш, За да се радват Твоите люде в Тебе?
7 Господи, покажи ни милостта Си, И дай ни спасението Си.
8 Ще слушам какво ще говори Господ Бог; Защото ще говори мир на людете Си и на светиите Си; Но нека се не връщат пак в безумие.
9 Наистина Неговото спасение е близо при ония, които Му се боят, За да обитава слава в нашата земя.
10 Милост и вярност се срещнаха, Правда и мир се целунаха.
11 Вярност пониква от земята, И правда е надникнала от небето.
12 Господ тоже ще даде това, което е добро; И земята ще ни даде плода си.

For the director of music. Of the Sons of Korah. A psalm.
1 You, Lord, showed favor to your land;
you restored the fortunes(A) of Jacob.
2 You forgave(B) the iniquity(C) of your people
and covered all their sins.[b]
3 You set aside all your wrath(D)
and turned from your fierce anger.(E)
4 Restore(F) us again, God our Savior,(G)
and put away your displeasure toward us.
5 Will you be angry with us forever?(H)
Will you prolong your anger through all generations?
6 Will you not revive(I) us again,
that your people may rejoice(J) in you?
7 Show us your unfailing love,(K) Lord,
and grant us your salvation.(L)
8 I will listen to what God the Lord says;
he promises peace(M) to his people, his faithful servants—
but let them not turn to folly.(N)
9 Surely his salvation(O) is near those who fear him,
that his glory(P) may dwell in our land.
10 Love and faithfulness(Q) meet together;
righteousness(R) and peace kiss each other.
11 Faithfulness springs forth from the earth,
and righteousness(S) looks down from heaven.
12 The Lord will indeed give what is good,(T)
and our land will yield(U) its harvest.
13 Righteousness goes before him
and prepares the way for his steps.

85 Lord, thou hast been favourable unto thy land: thou hast brought back the captivity of Jacob.
2 Thou hast forgiven the iniquity of thy people, thou hast covered all their sin. Selah.
3 Thou hast taken away all thy wrath: thou hast turned thyself from the fierceness of thine anger.
4 Turn us, O God of our salvation, and cause thine anger toward us to cease.
5 Wilt thou be angry with us for ever? wilt thou draw out thine anger to all generations?
6 Wilt thou not revive us again: that thy people may rejoice in thee?
7 Shew us thy mercy, O Lord, and grant us thy salvation.
8 I will hear what God the Lord will speak: for he will speak peace unto his people, and to his saints: but let them not turn again to folly.
9 Surely his salvation is nigh them that fear him; that glory may dwell in our land.
10 Mercy and truth are met together; righteousness and peace have kissed each other.
11 Truth shall spring out of the earth; and righteousness shall look down from heaven.
12 Yea, the Lord shall give that which is good; and our land shall yield her increase.
13 Righteousness shall go before him; and shall set us in the way of his steps.

85 Lord, You have been favorable to Your land;
You have (B)brought back the captivity of Jacob.
2 You have forgiven the iniquity of Your people;
You have covered all their sin. Selah
3 You have taken away all Your wrath;
You have turned from the fierceness of Your anger.
4 (C)Restore us, O God of our salvation,
And cause Your anger toward us to cease.
5 (D)Will You be angry with us forever?
Will You prolong Your anger to all generations?
6 Will You not (E)revive us again,
That Your people may rejoice in You?
7 Show us Your mercy, Lord,
And grant us Your salvation.
