Радостно пейте на Бога, нашата твърдиня; възклицавайте към Бога Иаковов;
3 вземете псалом, дайте тимпан, сладкогласна гусла с псалтир;
4 (B)тръбете с тръба в новомесечие, в определеното време, в деня на нашия празник,
5 (C)защото това е закон за Израиля, наредби от Бога Иаковов.
6 Той установи това като свидетелство за Иосифа, когато тоя излезе из Египетската земя, дето чу звуци от език, който той не знаеше:
7 „Аз снех товара от раменете му, и освободих ръцете му от кошниците.
8 (D)В утеснението си ти Ме повика, и Аз те избавих; изсред гръма те чух, при водите на Мерива те изпитах.
9 (E)Слушай, народе Мой, и Аз ще ти свидетелствувам: о, да беше Ме послушал, Израилю!
10 Да нямаш други бог и да не се покланяш на другоземен бог.
11 Аз съм Господ, Бог твой, Който те изведе из Египетската земя; отвори устата си, и Аз ще ги изпълня.“
12 Но Моят народ не слушаше гласа Ми, и Израил Ми се не покоряваше;
13 (F)затова Аз ги оставих на техните упорити сърца; нека ходят по своите помисли.
14 (G)О, да беше Ме слушал Моят народ, и Израил да ходеше в Моите пътища!
15 щях веднага да смиря техните врагове и да обърна ръката Си против техните потисници, –
16 ония, които мразят Господа, щяха да им се подмилкват, а тяхното добруване би се продължило завинаги;
17 (H)щях да ги храня с тлъста пшеница и щях да ги насищам с мед от скала.

80 (По слав. 79). За първия певец, по като кринове е заявлението+. Асафов псалом. Послушай, Пастирю Израилев, Който водиш като стадо Иосифа; Ти, който обитаваш между херувимите, възсияй.
2 Пред Ефрема Вениамина и Манасия раздвижи силата Си, И дойди да ни спасиш.
3 Възвърни ни, Боже, и осияй с лицато Си; И ще се спасим.
4 Господи Боже на Силите До кога ще пазиш гняв против молитвите на людете Си?
5 Даваш им да ядат хляб със сълзи. И поиш ги изобилно със сълзи.
6 Направил си ни предмет, на разпра между съседите ни; И неприятелите ни се смеят помежду си.
7 Възвърни ни Боже на Силите, Осияй с лицето Си и ще се спасим,
8 Пренесъл си лоза из Египет. И като си изгонил народите нея си насадил.
9 Приготвил си място пред нея; И тя е пуснала дълбоко корени, и е изпълнила земята.
10 Покриха се бърдата със сянката й; И клоновете й станаха като изящните* кедри,
11 Простря клончетата до морето. И ластарите си до Евфрат+.
12 Защо си съборил плетищата й, Та я берат всички, които минават през пътя?
13 Запустява я глиган от гората, И полските зверове я пояждат.
14 Обърни се, молим Ти се, Боже на Силите, Погледни от небето, и виж, и посети тая лоза,
15 И защити това, което е насадила Твоята десница, И отрасъла 16 Тя биде изгорена с огън; отсечена биде; Погиват при заплахата** на лицето Ти.
17 Нека бъде ръката Ти върху мъжа на Твоята десница Върху човешкия син, когото си направил силен за Себе Си.
18 Така ние не ще се отклоним от Тебе; Съживи ни и ще призовем Твоето име.
19 Възвърни ни, Господи Боже на Силите; Осияй с лицето Си, и ще се спасим.

For the director of music. To the tune of “The Lilies of the Covenant.” Of Asaph. A psalm.
1 Hear us, Shepherd of Israel,
you who lead Joseph like a flock.(A)
You who sit enthroned between the cherubim,(B)
shine forth 2 before Ephraim, Benjamin and Manasseh.(C)
Awaken(D) your might;
come and save us.(E)
4 How long,(I) Lord God Almighty,
will your anger smolder(J)
against the prayers of your people?
5 You have fed them with the bread of tears;(K)
you have made them drink tears by the bowlful.(L)
6 You have made us an object of derision[b] to our neighbors,
and our enemies mock us.(M)
7 Restore us, God Almighty;
make your face shine on us,
that we may be saved.(N)
8 You transplanted a vine(O) from Egypt;
you drove out(P) the nations and planted(Q) it.
9 You cleared the ground for it,
and it took root and filled the land.
10 The mountains were covered with its shade,
the mighty cedars with its branches.
11 Its branches reached as far as the Sea,[c]
its shoots as far as the River.[d](R)
12 Why have you broken down its walls(S)
so that all who pass by pick its grapes?
13 Boars from the forest ravage(T) it,
and insects from the fields feed on it.
14 Return to us, God Almighty!
Look down from heaven and see!(U)
Watch over this vine,
15 the root your right hand has planted,
the son[e] you have raised up for yourself.
16 Your vine is cut down, it is burned with fire;(V)
at your rebuke(W) your people perish.
17 Let your hand rest on the man at your right hand,
the son of man(X) you have raised up for yourself.
18 Then we will not turn away from you;
revive(Y) us, and we will call on your name.
19 Restore us, Lord God Almighty;
make your face shine on us,
that we may be saved.

80 Give ear, O Shepherd of Israel, thou that leadest Joseph like a flock; thou that dwellest between the cherubims, shine forth.
2 Before Ephraim and Benjamin and Manasseh stir up thy strength, and come and save us.
3 Turn us again, O God, and cause thy face to shine; and we shall be saved.
4 O Lord God of hosts, how long wilt thou be angry against the prayer of thy people?
5 Thou feedest them with the bread of tears; and givest them tears to drink in great measure.
6 Thou makest us a strife unto our neighbours: and our enemies laugh among themselves.
7 Turn us again, O God of hosts, and cause thy face to shine; and we shall be saved.
8 Thou hast brought a vine out of Egypt: thou hast cast out the heathen, and planted it.
9 Thou preparedst room before it, and didst cause it to take deep root, and it filled the land.
10 The hills were covered with the shadow of it, and the boughs thereof were like the goodly cedars.
11 She sent out her boughs unto the sea, and her branches unto the river.
12 Why hast thou then broken down her hedges, so that all they which pass by the way do pluck her?
13 The boar out of the wood doth waste it, and the wild beast of the field doth devour it.
14 Return, we beseech thee, O God of hosts: look down from heaven, and behold, and visit this vine;
15 And the vineyard which thy right hand hath planted, and the branch that thou madest strong for thyself.
16 It is burned with fire, it is cut down: they perish at the rebuke of thy countenance.
17 Let thy hand be upon the man of thy right hand, upon the son of man whom thou madest strong for thyself.
18 So will not we go back from thee: quicken us, and we will call upon thy name.
19 Turn us again, O Lord God of hosts, cause thy face to shine; and we shall be saved.
