Притчи Соломонови 19

19 (A)По-добре сиромах, който ходи в своята непорочност, нежели (богат) с лъжливи уста, при това и глупав.
2 (B)Не е добре на душата без знание, и който бърза с нозете, препъва се.
3 (C)Глупостта на човека изкривява пътя му, а сърцето му негодува против Господа.
4 (D)Богатството притуря много приятели, а сиромаха го напуска и приятелят му.
5 (E)Лъжесвидетел не ще остане ненаказан, и който говори лъжа, не ще се спаси.
6 Мнозина се подмилкват на големците, и всякой е приятел на човек, който прави подаръци.
7 Сиромаха мразят всичките му братя, още повече приятелите му странят от него: припка след тях, за да поговори, но – и това няма.
8 Който придобива разум, обича душата си; който пази благоразумие, намира добро.
9 (F)Лъжесвидетел не ще остане ненаказан, и който говори лъжа, ще загине.
10 (G)На глупец не прилича разкош, още повече на роб – да господарува над князе.
11 (H)Благоразумието прави човека бавен на гняв, и за него е слава да бъде снизходителен към грешки.
12 (I)Гневът на царя е като лъвски рев, а благоволението му – като роса по трева.
13 (J)Глупав син е съкрушение за баща си, и свадлива жена е като неспирен капчук.
14 (K)Къща и имот са наследство от родители, а разумна жена – от Господа.
15 Мързел потопява в сънливост, и нехайна душа ще търпи глад.
16 (L)Който пази заповед, запазва душата си, а който нехае за своите пътища, ще загине.
17 (M)Който прави добро на сиромах, дава назаем Господу, и Той ще му отплати за неговото благодеяние.
18 (N)Наказвай сина си, докле има надежда, и не се възмущавай от вика му.
19 Гневливият нека търпи наказание, защото, ако го пожалиш, ще трябва да го наказваш още повече.
20 Слушай съвет и приемай изобличение, за да станеш отпосле мъдър.
21 (O)В сърцето на човека има много кроежи, но сбъдва се само определеното от Господа.
22 Радост за човека е неговата благотворителност, и сиромахът е по-добър, отколкото лъжецът.
23 Страхът Господен води към живот, и който го има, винаги ще бъде доволен, и зло няма да го постигне.
24 (P)Мързеливец потапя ръка в блюдото и не иска да я подигне до устата си.
25 (Q)Ако накажеш кощунника, и простият ще стане благоразумен; и ако изобличиш разумния, той ще разбере поуката.
26 (R)Който съсипва баща и изпъжда майка, е син безсрамен и безчестен.
27 Престани, синко, да слушаш внушения, които те отклоняват от думите на разума.
28 (S)Лукав свидетел се гаври със съда, и устата на беззаконниците гълтат неправда.
29 Готови са за кощунници съдилища, и удари за тялото на глупците.

19 Mejor es el pobre que camina
en su integridad
que el de labios perversos y que es necio.
2 Tampoco es bueno hacer algo sin conocimiento,
y peca el que se apresura con sus pies.
3 La insensatez del hombre pervierte
su camino
y enfurece su corazón contra
el SEÑOR.
4 Las riquezas atraen muchos amigos, pero el pobre es abandonado
por su prójimo.
5 El testigo falso no quedará impune,
y el que respira mentiras no escapará.
6 Muchos imploran el favor del generoso; todos son amigos del hombre
que da regalos.
7 Todos los hermanos del pobre le odian; cuánto más se alejarán de él
sus amigos.
Busca quienes le hablen,
pero no los halla.
8 El que adquiere entendimiento ama su vida,
y el que guarda la prudencia hallará
el bien.
9 El testigo falso no quedará impune,
y el que respira mentiras perecerá.
10 No conviene al necio la comodidad; cuánto menos al esclavo dominar
a los gobernantes.
11 El discernimiento del hombre detiene su furor,
y su honra es pasar por alto la ofensa.
12 Como rugido de león es la ira del rey,
y su favor es como el rocío sobre
la hierba.
13 El hijo necio es la ruina de su padre;
y gotera continua son las contiendas
de la mujer.
14 Una casa y riquezas son herencia
de los padres,
pero una mujer prudente lo es del SEÑOR.
15 La pereza hace caer en sueño profundo, y la persona negligente padecerá
de hambre.
16 El que guarda el mandamiento guarda su alma,
pero el que menosprecia sus caminos morirá.
17 El que da al pobre presta al SEÑOR,
y él le dará su recompensa.
18 Corrige a tu hijo mientras haya
esperanza,
pero no se exceda tu alma para destruirlo.
19 El de gran[a] ira llevará el castigo;
si lo libras, tendrás que hacerlo de nuevo.
20 Escucha el consejo y acepta
la corrección
para que seas sabio en tu porvenir.
21 Muchos planes hay en el corazón del hombre,
pero solo el propósito del SEÑOR
se cumplirá.
22 La ambición del hombre es su desgracia, y es mejor ser indigente que engañador.
23 El temor del SEÑOR es para vida;
el hombre vivirá satisfecho con él
y no será visitado por el mal.
24 El perezoso hunde su mano en el plato, pero ni aun a su boca la llevará.
25 Golpea al burlador, y el ingenuo
se hará sagaz;
amonesta al entendido, y captará conocimiento.
26 El que despoja a su padre y ahuyenta a su madre
es hijo que avergüenza y deshonra.
27 Hijo mío, deja de atender la enseñanza que te hace divagar de las palabras del conocimiento.
28 El testigo perverso se burla del juicio,
y la boca de los impíos expresa iniquidad.
29 Actos justicieros están preparados para los burladores,
y azotes para la espalda de los necios.

King James Version
19 Better is the poor that walketh in his integrity, than he that is perverse in his lips, and is a fool.
2 Also, that the soul be without knowledge, it is not good; and he that hasteth with his feet sinneth.
3 The foolishness of man perverteth his way: and his heart fretteth against the Lord.
4 Wealth maketh many friends; but the poor is separated from his neighbour.
5 A false witness shall not be unpunished, and he that speaketh lies shall not escape.
6 Many will intreat the favour of the prince: and every man is a friend to him that giveth gifts.
7 All the brethren of the poor do hate him: how much more do his friends go far from him? he pursueth them with words, yet they are wanting to him.
8 He that getteth wisdom loveth his own soul: he that keepeth understanding shall find good.
9 A false witness shall not be unpunished, and he that speaketh lies shall perish.
10 Delight is not seemly for a fool; much less for a servant to have rule over princes.
11 The discretion of a man deferreth his anger; and it is his glory to pass over a transgression.
12 The king's wrath is as the roaring of a lion; but his favour is as dew upon the grass.
13 A foolish son is the calamity of his father: and the contentions of a wife are a continual dropping.
14 House and riches are the inheritance of fathers: and a prudent wife is from the Lord.
15 Slothfulness casteth into a deep sleep; and an idle soul shall suffer hunger.
16 He that keepeth the commandment keepeth his own soul; but he that despiseth his ways shall die.
17 He that hath pity upon the poor lendeth unto the Lord; and that which he hath given will he pay him again.
18 Chasten thy son while there is hope, and let not thy soul spare for his crying.
19 A man of great wrath shall suffer punishment: for if thou deliver him, yet thou must do it again.
20 Hear counsel, and receive instruction, that thou mayest be wise in thy latter end.
21 There are many devices in a man's heart; nevertheless the counsel of the Lord, that shall stand.
22 The desire of a man is his kindness: and a poor man is better than a liar.
23 The fear of the Lord tendeth to life: and he that hath it shall abide satisfied; he shall not be visited with evil.
24 A slothful man hideth his hand in his bosom, and will not so much as bring it to his mouth again.
25 Smite a scorner, and the simple will beware: and reprove one that hath understanding, and he will understand knowledge.
26 He that wasteth his father, and chaseth away his mother, is a son that causeth shame, and bringeth reproach.
27 Cease, my son, to hear the instruction that causeth to err from the words of knowledge.
28 An ungodly witness scorneth judgment: and the mouth of the wicked devoureth iniquity.
29 Judgments are prepared for scorners, and stripes for the back of fools.
