(B)Цар Седекия изпрати Иехухала, Селемиев син, и свещеник Софония, Маасеев син, при пророк Иеремия да кажат: „помоли се зарад нас на нашия Господ Бог“.

И цар Седекия изпрати Еухала, Селемиевия син и Софония, син на свещеник Маасия, при пророк Еремия да рекат: Моля, помоли се за нас на Господа нашия Бог.

He and his officers and the people of the land did not obey the words of the Lord(A) that he spoke through the prophet Jeremiah.

Nevertheless, King Zedekiah sent Jehucal(B) son of Shelemiah and Zephaniah(C) son of Maaseiah, the priest, to the prophet Jeremiah, requesting, “Please pray to the Lord our God on our behalf!” Jeremiah was going about his daily tasks[a] among the people, for he had not yet been put into the prison.(D)

Neither he nor his attendants nor the people of the land paid any attention(A) to the words the Lord had spoken through Jeremiah the prophet.

King Zedekiah, however, sent(B) Jehukal(C) son of Shelemiah with the priest Zephaniah(D) son of Maaseiah to Jeremiah the prophet with this message: “Please pray(E) to the Lord our God for us.”

Now Jeremiah was free to come and go among the people, for he had not yet been put in prison.(F)
