28 В същата година, в началото на царуването на Юдовия цар Седекия, в четвъртата година, в петия месец, пророк Анания, Азоровият син, който бе от Гаваон, ми говори в Господния дом, пред свещениците и пред всичките люде, казвайки:
2 Така говори Господ на Силите, Израилевият Бог, като каза: Строших хомота на вавилонския цар.
3 Вътре в две цели години ще върна в това място всичките съдове на Господния дом, които вавилонският цар Навуходоносор все от това място и занесе във Вавилон;
4 и в това място ще върна, казва Господ, Юдовия цар Иехония, Иоакимовия син, и всичките Юдови пленници, които отидоха във Вавилон; защото ще строша хомота на вавилонския цар.
5 Тогава пророк Еремия говори на пророк Анания пред свещениците и пред всичките люде, които стояха в Господния дом;
6 и рече пророк Еремия: Амин! Господ да направи така! Господ да изпълни думите, които си пророкувал, и да върне от Вавилон в това място съдовете на Господния дом и всички, които са били пленени.
7 Обаче, чуй, сега това слово, което аз говоря в ушите ти и в ушите на всичките люде:
8 Пророците, които са били преди мене и преди тебе от старо време, пророкуваха против много страни и против много големи царства за война, за зло, и за мор.
9 Пророкът, който пророкува за мир, - когато се изпълни думата му, тогава ще се познае, че той е пророк, когото Господ наистина е пратил.
10 Тогава пророк Анания взе хомота от врата на пророк Еремия, та го строши.
11 И Анания говори пред всичките люде, думайки: Така казва Господ: По тоя начин ще строша хомота на вавилонския цар Навуходоносора от врата на всичките народи вътре в две цели години, И пророк Еремия отиде по пътя си.
12 Тогава Господното слово дойде към Еремия, след като пророк Анания бе строшил хомота от врата на пророк Еремия, и каза:
13 Иди та говори на Анания като речеш: Така казва Господ: Ти строши дървените хомоти; но вместо тях ще направиш железни хомоти.
14 Защото така казва Господ на Силите, Израилевият Бог: Железен хомот турих на врата на всички тия народи, за да слугуват на вавилонския цар Навуходоносора; и ще му слугуват; дадох му още и полските зверове.
15 Тогава рече пророк Еремия на пророк Анания: Слушай сега, Анание. Господ не те е пратил; но ти правиш тия люде да уповават на лъжа.
16 Затова, така казва Господ: Ето, Аз ще те отпратя от лицето на земята! тая година ще умреш, защото си проповядвал бунт против Господа.
17 И така, пророк Анания умря същата година, в седмия месец.

28 (A)В същата година – в начало на царуването на иудейския цар Седекия, – в четвъртата година, в петия месец, Анания, Азуров син, пророк от Гаваон, ми говори в дома Господен пред очите на свещениците и на целия народ, думайки:
2 (B)тъй казва Господ Саваот, Бог Израилев: ще строша хомота на вавилонския цар:
3 (C)подир две години ще върна на това място всички съдове на дома Господен, които вавилонският цар Навуходоносор взе оттук и ги отнесе във Вавилон;
4 и иудейския цар Иехония, Иоакимов син, и всички пленени иудеи, които отидоха във Вавилон, ще върна на това място, казва Господ; защото ще строша хомота на вавилонския цар.
5 И рече пророк Иеремия на пророк Анания пред очите на свещениците и пред очите на целия народ, – които стояха в дома Господен, –
6 и рече пророк Иеремия: да бъде тъй, да извърши това Господ! да изпълни Господ твоите думи, що изрече за връщане от Вавилон на това място съдовете на дома Господен и всички пленници!
7 Само изслушай думата, която ще ти кажа, да чуеш ти, и да чуе целият народ;
8 пророците, които отдавна бяха преди мене и преди тебе, предсказваха на много земи и на големи царства война, бедствие и мор.
9 (D)Ако някой пророк предсказвал мир, то само тогава бивал признат за пророк, наистина изпратен от Господа, когато се е сбъдвала думата на тоя пророк.
10 Тогава пророк Анания взе хомота от врата на пророк Иеремия и го строши.
11 И рече Анания пред очите на целия народ тия думи: „тъй казва Господ: тъй ще строша хомота на вавилонския цар Навуходоносора подир две години, като го снема от врата на всички народи“. И отиде Иеремия по пътя си.
12 И биде слово Господне към Иеремия, след като пророк Анания строши хомота от врата на пророк Иеремия:
13 иди и кажи на Анания, тъй казва Господ: ти строши дървен хомот – но ще направиш вместо него хомот железен.
14 (E)Защото тъй казва Господ Саваот, Бог Израилев: железен хомот ще туря на врата на всички тия народи, за да работят на вавилонския цар Навуходоносора, и те ще му служат; дори и полските зверове нему предадох.
15 И рече пророк Иеремия на пророк Анания: чуй Анание: Господ не те е пращал, и ти лъжливо обнадеждваш тоя народ.
16 (F)Затова тъй казва Господ: ето, Аз ще те изхвърля от земното лице; през тая година ще умреш, понеже говори против Господа.
17 И умря пророк Анания в оная година, в седмия месец.

28 En el mismo año, al comienzo del reinado de Sedequías, rey de Judá(A), en el año cuarto, en el mes quinto, el profeta Hananías(B), hijo de Azur, que era de Gabaón(C), me dijo en la casa del Señor en presencia de los sacerdotes y de todo el pueblo: 2 «Así dice el Señor de los ejércitos, el Dios de Israel: “He quebrado el yugo del rey de Babilonia(D). 3 Dentro de dos años haré volver a este lugar todos los utensilios de la casa del Señor, que Nabucodonosor, rey de Babilonia, tomó de este lugar y llevó a Babilonia(E). 4 Y a Jeconías, hijo de Joacim, rey de Judá(F), y a todos los desterrados(G) de Judá que fueron a Babilonia, Yo los haré volver a este lugar(H)”, declara el Señor, “porque romperé el yugo del rey de Babilonia(I)”».
5 Entonces el profeta Jeremías respondió al profeta Hananías en presencia de los sacerdotes y en presencia de todo el pueblo(J) que estaba de pie en la casa del Señor; 6 y el profeta Jeremías dijo: «Amén, así lo haga el Señor(K). Confirme[a] el Señor tus palabras, que has profetizado para que sean devueltos los utensilios de la casa del Señor y vuelvan todos los desterrados de Babilonia a este lugar. 7 Pero oye ahora esta palabra(L) que voy a hablar a tus oídos y a oídos de todo el pueblo: 8 Los profetas que fueron antes de mí y antes de ti desde la antigüedad, profetizaron guerra, calamidad y pestilencia contra muchas tierras(M) y contra grandes reinos. 9 Si un profeta[b] profetiza paz, cuando la palabra del profeta se cumpla, ese profeta será conocido como el que el Señor en verdad ha enviado(N)». 10 Entonces el profeta Hananías quitó el yugo del cuello del profeta Jeremías(O) y lo rompió. 11 Y Hananías dijo en presencia de todo el pueblo: «Así dice el Señor(P): “De esta manera romperé dentro de dos años el yugo de Nabucodonosor, rey de Babilonia, del cuello de todas las naciones”». Luego el profeta Jeremías se fue por su camino.
12 Después que Hananías había roto el yugo del cuello del profeta Jeremías, vino a Jeremías la palabra del Señor(Q): 13 «Ve y habla a Hananías: “Así dice el Señor: ‘Has roto yugos de madera, pero en su lugar harás yugos de hierro(R)’. 14 Porque así dice el Señor de los ejércitos, el Dios de Israel: ‘Yugo de hierro he puesto sobre el cuello de todas estas naciones, para que sirvan a Nabucodonosor, rey de Babilonia(S), y le servirán(T). Y le he dado también las bestias del campo(U)’”». 15 Y el profeta Jeremías dijo al profeta Hananías: «Escucha ahora, Hananías, el Señor no te ha enviado, y tú has hecho que este pueblo confíe en una mentira(V). 16 Por tanto, así dice el Señor: “Te voy a quitar[c] de sobre la superficie de la tierra(W). Este año morirás, porque has aconsejado[d](X) la rebelión contra el Señor(Y)”». 17 Y murió el profeta Hananías aquel mismo año, en el mes séptimo.

28 And it came to pass the same year, in the beginning of the reign of Zedekiah king of Judah, in the fourth year, and in the fifth month, that Hananiah the son of Azur the prophet, which was of Gibeon, spake unto me in the house of the Lord, in the presence of the priests and of all the people, saying,
2 Thus speaketh the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel, saying, I have broken the yoke of the king of Babylon.
3 Within two full years will I bring again into this place all the vessels of the Lord's house, that Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon took away from this place, and carried them to Babylon:
4 And I will bring again to this place Jeconiah the son of Jehoiakim king of Judah, with all the captives of Judah, that went into Babylon, saith the Lord: for I will break the yoke of the king of Babylon.
5 Then the prophet Jeremiah said unto the prophet Hananiah in the presence of the priests, and in the presence of all the people that stood in the house of the Lord,
6 Even the prophet Jeremiah said, Amen: the Lord do so: the Lord perform thy words which thou hast prophesied, to bring again the vessels of the Lord's house, and all that is carried away captive, from Babylon into this place.
7 Nevertheless hear thou now this word that I speak in thine ears, and in the ears of all the people;
8 The prophets that have been before me and before thee of old prophesied both against many countries, and against great kingdoms, of war, and of evil, and of pestilence.
9 The prophet which prophesieth of peace, when the word of the prophet shall come to pass, then shall the prophet be known, that the Lord hath truly sent him.
10 Then Hananiah the prophet took the yoke from off the prophet Jeremiah's neck, and brake it.
11 And Hananiah spake in the presence of all the people, saying, Thus saith the Lord; Even so will I break the yoke of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon from the neck of all nations within the space of two full years. And the prophet Jeremiah went his way.
12 Then the word of the Lord came unto Jeremiah the prophet, after that Hananiah the prophet had broken the yoke from off the neck of the prophet Jeremiah, saying,
13 Go and tell Hananiah, saying, Thus saith the Lord; Thou hast broken the yokes of wood; but thou shalt make for them yokes of iron.
14 For thus saith the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel; I have put a yoke of iron upon the neck of all these nations, that they may serve Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon; and they shall serve him: and I have given him the beasts of the field also.
15 Then said the prophet Jeremiah unto Hananiah the prophet, Hear now, Hananiah; The Lord hath not sent thee; but thou makest this people to trust in a lie.
16 Therefore thus saith the Lord; Behold, I will cast thee from off the face of the earth: this year thou shalt die, because thou hast taught rebellion against the Lord.
17 So Hananiah the prophet died the same year in the seventh month.
