¹⁷ As he came near the place where I was standing, I was terrified and fell prostrate.^(A) “Son of man,”^[a] he said to me, “understand that the vision concerns the time of the end.”^(B)

²⁶ “The vision of the evenings and mornings that has been given you is true,^(A) but seal^(B) up the vision, for it concerns the distant future.”^(C)

⁷ He said to them: “It is not for you to know the times or dates the Father has set by his own authority.^(A)

¹² It was revealed to them that they were not serving themselves but you,^(A) when they spoke of the things that have now been told you by those who have preached the gospel to you^(B) by the Holy Spirit sent from heaven.^(C) Even angels long to look into these things.
