2 до светите и верни в Христа Иисуса братя в Колоса: благодат вам и мир от Бога Отца нашего и Господа Иисуса Христа.
3 (A)Благодарим на Бога и Отца на Господа нашего Иисуса Христа, молейки се винаги за вас,
4 (B)понеже чухме за вашата вяра в Христа Иисуса и за любовта ви към всички светии,
5 при надеждата на отреденото вам на небесата, за което по-преди чухте от истинското слово на благовестието,
6 (C)що пребъдва у вас, както и в цял свят, и принася плод и расте, както и между вас от деня, когато чухте и познахте истински Божията благодат,
7 както се и научихте от Епафраса, нашия възлюбен сътрудник, който е верен служител Христов заради вас,
8 и ни извести за вашата чрез Духа любов.
9 (D)Затова и ние от деня, когато чухме това, не преставаме да се молим за вас и да просим, щото вие да имате пълно познание на волята Му във всяка премъдрост и духовно разбиране,
10 (E)та да постъпвате достойно за Бога, като Му угождавате във всичко, като принасяте плод във всяко добро дело и растете в познаването Бога,
11 (F)като се укрепявате с всякаква сила чрез Неговата славна мощ за всяко търпение и великодушие с радост,
12 (G)като благодарите на Бога и Отца, Който ни направи способни да участвуваме в наследството на светиите в светлината,
13 (H)избави ни от властта на тъмнината и ни премести в царството на възлюбения Си Син,
14 (I)в Когото имаме изкупление чрез кръвта Му и прошка на греховете,
15 (J)и Който е образ на невидимия Бог, роден преди всяка твар;
16 (K)понеже чрез Него е създадено всичко, що е на небесата и що е на земята, видимо и невидимо; било Престоли, било Господства, било Началства, било Власти – всичко чрез Него и за Него е създадено;
17 (L)Той е по-напред от всичко, и всичко чрез Него се държи.
18 (M)И Той е Глава на тялото, сиреч на църквата; Той е начатък, първороден измежду мъртвите, за да има във всичко първенство;
19 (N)понеже в Него благоволи Отец, да обитава всичката пълнота,
20 (O)и чрез Него да примири със Себе Си всичко, било земно, било небесно, като го умиротвори чрез Него, с кръвта на кръста Му.
21 И вас, които някога бяхте отстранени от Бога и Негови врагове поради разположение към лоши дела,
22 (P)сега ви примири в тялото на Неговата плът, чрез смъртта Му, за да ви представи свети, непорочни и безукорни пред Себе Си,
23 ако само пребъдвате във вярата твърди и непоколебими, и бъдете непоклатни в надеждата на проповяданото на всяка поднебесна твар благовестие, което чухте и на което аз, Павел, станах служител.
24 (Q)Сега се радвам в страданията си за вас и подпълвам недостига от скърби Христови в моята плът за тялото Христово, което е църквата,
25 (R)на която аз станах служител по Божия наредба, мен възложена за вас, за да изпълня словото Божие, –
26 (S)тайната, скрита от векове и родове, а сега открита на светиите Му,
27 (T)на които Бог пожела да покаже, какво богатство на слава има за езичниците в тази тайна, именно, че Христос, упованието на славата, е във вас;

3 Благодарим на Бога, Отец на нашия Господ Исус Христос, (като се молим винаги за вас,
4 понеже чухме за вашата вяра в Христа Исуса и за любовта ви към всичките светии),
5 по причина на онова, за което се надяваме, което се пази за вас на небесата, за което сте чули от по-напред в истинското слово на благовестието,
6 което дойде до вас; както то принася плод и расте в целия свят, тъй и между вас, от деня, когато чухте и наистина познахте Божията благодат,
7 както сте я и научили от нашия възлюбен съработник Епафраса, който е за нас верен Христов служител;

13 Който ни избави от властта на тъмнината и ни пресели в царството на Своя възлюбен Син.
14 В Него имаме изкуплението си, прощението на греховете;
15 <в Него>, Който е образ на невидимия Бог, първороден преди всяко създание;
16 понеже чрез Него бе създадено всичко, <което е> на небесата и на земята, видимото и невидимото, било престоли или господства, било началства или власти, всичко чрез Него бе създадено;
17 и Той е преди всичко, и всичко чрез Него се сплотява.
18 И глава на тялото, <то ест>, на църквата, е Той, Който е началникът, първороден от мъртвите, за да има първенство във всичко.
19 Защото <Отец> благоволи да всели в Него съвършената пълнота,

21 И вас, които бяхте някога отстранени и по разположение врагове в злите си дела,

23 ако останете основани и твърди във вярата, и без да се помръднете от надеждата, <открита вам> в благовестието, което сте чули, и което е било проповядано на всяка твар под небесата, на което аз Павел станах служител.
24 Сега се радвам в страданията си за вас, като от моя страна допълням недостатъка на скърбите на Христа в моето тяло заради Неговото тяло, което е църквата;
25 на която аз станах служител, по Божията наредба, която ми бе възложена заради вас, да <проповядвам> напълно словото на Бога,
26 <сиреч>, тайната, която е била скрита за векове и поколения, а сега се откри на Неговите светии;

1 Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, and Timotheus our brother,
2 To the saints and faithful brethren in Christ which are at Colosse: Grace be unto you, and peace, from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
3 We give thanks to God and the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, praying always for you,
4 Since we heard of your faith in Christ Jesus, and of the love which ye have to all the saints,
5 For the hope which is laid up for you in heaven, whereof ye heard before in the word of the truth of the gospel;
6 Which is come unto you, as it is in all the world; and bringeth forth fruit, as it doth also in you, since the day ye heard of it, and knew the grace of God in truth:
7 As ye also learned of Epaphras our dear fellowservant, who is for you a faithful minister of Christ;
8 Who also declared unto us your love in the Spirit.
9 For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding;
10 That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God;
11 Strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness;
12 Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light:
13 Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:
14 In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:
15 Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:

21 And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled
22 In the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight:
23 If ye continue in the faith grounded and settled, and be not moved away from the hope of the gospel, which ye have heard, and which was preached to every creature which is under heaven; whereof I Paul am made a minister;
24 Who now rejoice in my sufferings for you, and fill up that which is behind of the afflictions of Christ in my flesh for his body's sake, which is the church:
25 Whereof I am made a minister, according to the dispensation of God which is given to me for you, to fulfil the word of God;
26 Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints:
27 To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:
28 Whom we preach, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom; that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus:
29 Whereunto I also labour, striving according to his working, which worketh in me mightily.

Their Faith in Christ
3 (D)We give thanks to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, praying always for you, 4 (E)since we heard of your faith in Christ Jesus and of (F)your love for all the saints; 5 because of the hope (G)which is laid up for you in heaven, of which you heard before in the word of the truth of the gospel, 6 which has come to you, (H)as it has also in all the world, and (I)is bringing forth [b]fruit, as it is also among you since the day you heard and knew (J)the grace of God in truth; 7 as you also learned from (K)Epaphras, our dear fellow servant, who is (L)a faithful minister of Christ on your behalf, 8 who also declared to us your (M)love in the Spirit.
Preeminence of Christ
9 (N)For this reason we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to ask (O)that you may be filled with (P)the knowledge of His will (Q)in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; 10 (R)that you may walk worthy of the Lord, (S)fully pleasing Him, (T)being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the (U)knowledge of God; 11 (V)strengthened with all might, according to His glorious power, (W)for all patience and longsuffering (X)with joy; 12 (Y)giving thanks to the Father who has qualified us to be partakers of (Z)the inheritance of the saints in the light. 13 He has delivered us from (AA)the power of darkness (AB)and [c]conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love, 14 (AC)in whom we have redemption [d]through His blood, the forgiveness of sins.

Reconciled in Christ

21 And you, (AQ)who once were alienated and enemies in your mind (AR)by wicked works, yet now He has (AS)reconciled 22 (AT)in the body of His flesh through death, (AU)to present you holy, and blameless, and above reproach in His sight— 23 if indeed you continue (AV)in the faith, grounded and steadfast, and are (AW)not moved away from the hope of the gospel which you heard, (AX)which was preached to every creature under heaven, (AY)of which I, Paul, became a minister.
Sacrificial Service for Christ
24 (AZ)I now rejoice in my sufferings (BA)for you, and fill up in my flesh (BB)what is lacking in the afflictions of Christ, for (BC)the sake of His body, which is the church, 25 of which I became a minister according to (BD)the [g]stewardship from God which was given to me for you, to fulfill the word of God, 26 (BE)the [h]mystery which has been hidden from ages and from generations, (BF)but now has been revealed to His saints. 27 (BG)To them God willed to make known what are (BH)the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles: [i]which is (BI)Christ in you, (BJ)the hope of glory. 28 Him we preach, (BK)warning every man and teaching every man in all wisdom, (BL)that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus. 29 To this end I also labor, striving according to His working which works in me (BM)mightily.
