Wisdom 3:2
Print
To those who don’t know any better, it seems as if they have died. Their departure from this life was considered their misfortune.
In the sight of the unwise they seemed to die: and their departure was taken for misery:
It is a foolish mistake to think that righteous people die and that their death is a terrible evil.
They seemed, in the view of the foolish, to be dead; and their passing away was thought an affliction
From the viewpoint of the foolish, they seemed to be dead, and their passing away was reckoned as a misfortune,
In the eyes of the foolish they seemed to have died, and their departure was thought to be a disaster,
In the eyes of the foolish they seemed to have died, and their departure was thought to be a disaster,
In the eyes of the foolish they seemed to have died, and their departure was thought to be a disaster,
In the eyes of the foolish they seemed to have died, and their departure was thought to be a disaster
In the eyes of the foolish they seemed to have died, and their departure was thought to be an affliction,
In the eyes of the foolish they seemed to have died, and their departure was thought to be an affliction,
They seemed to the eyes of unwise men to die; and torment was deemed the outgoing of them.
