In contrast, the loud moaning of their enemies was a jarring and miserable sound. It rose up and could be heard everywhere as they mourned their dead children.
But on the other side there sounded an ill according cry of the enemies, and a lamentable mourning was heard for the children that were bewailed.
But their enemies' pitiful cries of grief echoed everywhere, as they mourned for their dead children.
But the discordant cry of their enemies echoed back, and the piteous wail of mourning for children was borne to them.
In response came the dissonant cry of their enemies, and the piteous lamentation for their children spread abroad.
But the discordant cry of their enemies echoed back, and their piteous lament for their children was spread abroad.
But the discordant cry of their enemies echoed back, and their piteous lament for their children was spread abroad.
But the discordant cry of their enemies echoed back, and their piteous lament for their children was spread abroad.
But the discordant cry of their enemies echoed back, and their piteous lament for their children was spread abroad.
But the discordant cry of their enemies echoed back, and their piteous lament for their children was spread abroad.
But the discordant cry of their enemies echoed back, and their piteous lament for their children was spread abroad.
But (the) unseemly voice of (the) enemies sounded, and weepful wailing of beweepers of young children was heard. [Forsooth the uncovenable voice of enemies sounded, and weepful wailing of bewept young children was heard.]
