Wisdom 17:20
Imprimir
So while bright sunlight lit up the rest of the world, and people and things went about their ordered, active lives,
But over them only was spread a heavy night, an image of that darkness which was to come upon them. But they were to themselves more grievous than the darkness.
In the full light of day, the rest of the world went about its business undisturbed.
For the whole world shone with brilliant light and continued its works without interruption;
For the whole world was bathed in brilliant light and was at work without any hindrance.
For the whole world was illumined with brilliant light, and went about its work unhindered,
For the whole world was illumined with brilliant light, and went about its work unhindered,
For the whole world was illumined with brilliant light, and went about its work unhindered,
For the whole world was illumined with brilliant light and went about its work unhindered,
For the whole world was illumined with brilliant light, and was engaged in unhindered work,
For the whole world was illumined with brilliant light, and was engaged in unhindered work,
Forsooth all the world was lightened with clear light, and was not witholden in works hindered. [Forsooth all the roundness of (the) earth’s was lighted with clear light, and contained in works not letted (or hindered).]
