Wisdom 16:5

Even when the terrible fury of beasts overwhelmed your people and they were perishing from the stings of coiled serpents, your anger didn’t last long.
For when the fierce rage of beasts came upon these, they were destroyed with the bitings of crooked serpents.
When terrible, fierce snakes attacked your people and were killing them with their poison, you did not remain angry long enough to destroy your people.
For when the dire venom of beasts came upon them and they were dying from the bite of crooked serpents, your anger endured not to the end.
Even when the venomous rage of wild animals terrorized your people and they were perishing from the bites of wriggling serpents, your anger did not continue to the uttermost.
For when the terrible rage of wild animals came upon your people and they were being destroyed by the bites of writhing serpents, your wrath did not continue to the end;
For when the terrible rage of wild animals came upon your people and they were being destroyed by the bites of writhing serpents, your wrath did not continue to the end;
For when the terrible rage of wild animals came upon your people and they were being destroyed by the bites of writhing serpents, your wrath did not continue to the end;
For when the terrible rage of wild animals came upon your people and they were being destroyed by the bites of writhing serpents, your wrath did not continue to the end;
For when the terrible rage of wild beasts came upon thy people and they were being destroyed by the bites of writhing serpents, thy wrath did not continue to the end;
For when the terrible rage of wild beasts came upon thy people and they were being destroyed by the bites of writhing serpents, thy wrath did not continue to the end;
Forsooth when the fierce ire of beasts came on them, they were destroyed by the bitings of wayward serpents. But, Lord, thine ire dwelled not without end; [Forsooth when to them came on the cruel wrath of beasts, by the bitings of shrewd (or depraved) shadow adders they were destroyed. But not into evermore thy wrath abode still;]
