Wisdom 16:4

The enemies of your people, who oppressed them like tyrants, were fated to experience a famine that never seemed to end. But all that was necessary for your people was to show them how their enemies were to be tortured.
For it was requisite that inevitable destruction should come upon them that exercised tyranny: but to these it should only be shewn how their enemies were destroyed.
It was necessary for the oppressors to suffer relentless need, while your people saw how their enemies were being tormented.
For inexorable want had to come upon those oppressors; but these needed only to be shown how their enemies were being tormented.
For these idolaters necessarily had to be afflicted with inexorable want, sufficient to indicate to your people how their enemies were being tormented.
For it was necessary that upon those oppressors inescapable want should come, while to these others it was merely shown how their enemies were being tormented.
For it was necessary that upon those oppressors inescapable want should come, while to these others it was merely shown how their enemies were being tormented.
For it was necessary that upon those oppressors inescapable want should come, while to these others it was merely shown how their enemies were being tormented.
For it was necessary that upon those oppressors inescapable want should come, while to these others it was merely shown how their enemies were being tormented.
For it was necessary that upon those oppressors inexorable want should come, while to these it was merely shown how their enemies were being tormented.
For it was necessary that upon those oppressors inexorable want should come, while to these it was merely shown how their enemies were being tormented.
For soothly it behooved perishing to come on them without excusing, using tyranny; but to show only to these Hebrews, how their enemies were destroyed. [Forsooth it behooved to them, haunting tyranny, death to come on without excusation; to them forsooth only to show, how the enemies of them were destroyed.]
